Make: Nissan Model: Stagea Milage: 101,000 Transmission: Auto Colour: Silver Location: perth Complied? Yes RWC supplied? N/A Currently registered? Yes Price: $12,500 Contact: Morgan - PM me Comments / Modifications: I am going to be selling my 1997 Series 1 Stagea in March/ April this year. I am getting a company car so no point keeping the Stag in the garage anymore. I imported the car in December 2006 and it has plenty of options on on it. I think it is a 'Prime' model as it has the full Dayz kit, leather interior, factory MOMO, dual sunroofs. THe car is in excellent condition and has just ticked over 100k km. I had the 100k service done by C-Red at 89k and it has been serviced regularily by them. I have made the following mods: - Tannabe coilovers (very nice ride, not too hard but a lot better than standard) The car can go another two inches lower than in the photos - Camber bushes to align rear wheels when lowered and professional wheel alignment - Just Jap split front/dump pipe - Tannabe cat back exhuast (relatively quiet but a bit noisier when you open up the throttle) - K&N panel filter - r33 GTST brakes frontt and rear - 17" r34 GTT rims - Pioneer CD player All work was professionally done so no dodge ups here. The car has been a great daily driver for me and is in immaculate condition. All mods are quite subtle so it is good to cruise around in without too much unwanted attention but anyone who knows about cars will appreciated the car. I thought i would post up the for sale notice now so anyone who is thinking about importing there own or dreaming about a new car for 2008 can have some time to arrange their cash. The car will be advertised elsewhere when i am closer to getting my new car. PM if you are intererested and i can arrange an inspection and then work out a handover in March/ April. Images:

thanks Mitchy. I still need one so if you can check and let me know that would be great. Maybe i can collect during the week. It is actually for my stagea but i did not want to complicate things - it is the same as a r33

I was just trying to bleed my cooling system on my r33 when i dropped the bleed screw (front of intake manifold marked ' do not open when hot'). Now i cannot find the screw/bolt. Does anyone know what sized the bolt is so that i can buy a new one? Or even better does anyone have one i can buy? I am in Perth. Help me please!

If the traffic matter is still unresolved with police and insurance company it is probably not a good idea to post up any comments like your speed. It would be very difficult for any crash investigator to determine that you were 15km over unless you told them. Bein 15km over probably means the liabilitiy will be spread between the truck driver and yourself and insurance companies have a habit over not paying out if you are breaking the law. Good luck with the new purchase and insurance claim. If you just spent $15k on mods in might be worth asking the insuance company if you can buy the wreck so you can extract the parts for your new car.

manual boost controllers can be bought from the following perth stores: Auto-one, repco, c-red, x speed, rotormotion, etc. If you have to pay more than $50 and it takes you more than 20 minutes to install you are doing something wrong. Good luck - might need to wind up about 15psi to have a chance.

as part of the compliance work the stagea must be fitted with 3 separate baby harness moutning points. i have a baby capsul/seat in mine and plan for another one shortly. Go for it!

I am about to put a set of front and rear gtst r33 brakes on my s1 stagea. The workshop doing the work has told me to get the r33 master cylinder as well - but i am not sure whether my abs will be affected by the change. i know that some r33's came with abs and some didnt and the master cylinder was different on each one. Has anyone done this conversion including the master cylinder swap? Help appreciated - i will call the workshop tomorrow but wanted a second opinion

spotted a white s1 (i think) on Kalamunda road in High Wycombe - got the wave. Car looks tidy in white.

fuel useage isnt too far off the mark. Check the fuel economy thread for companisons. i have never heard of a stagea getting 12l/100km but good luck trying.

i pay $1050 a year with Shannons for 97 s1 insured value of $14k. I am 29 no accidents or fines and 2 other cars with Shannons. I have asked several times but they say they cannot do any better and said that they normall do not insure my car unless it is garaged (it is under a carport most of the time) It seems that most people who are younger with higher value cars are paying less. Anyone here work for Shannons who can sort these f**kers out!

i bought the just jap dump and front pipe - same as a r33. It is good quality stainless and cost about $250 i think
-
i am going emange as well. I assume you are waiting for Mark at C-red to install on his car.
-
i bought my socket from Bunnings for $5!
-
I am getting a emange soon for my Stagea. My mechanic says the SAFC and SITC are far to clunky and not as advance as the emanage which is a true engine management system. The other two devices cost more anyway.

I have this exhaust. It is nice and quiet if that is what you like. I have fitted the dump/front pipe as well and there is a noticeable power gain to be had. i suspect a noisier exhaust may make more power. YOu should have no problem passing db tests and it is not so obvious that cops pull you over anyway. I dont know too much about other exhausts but i like this one.

I have or am going to have similar mods - i like the sound of the ECU remap. (Group buy !!!)

Group Buy # 4 Arospeed Adjustable Cam Gears, By Popular Demand, By Popular Demand
MRO replied to r33kid's topic in Group Buys
I havent recieved my gears yet. Is anyone else waiting or am i the only one. R33kid can you please relpy to my PM. I am anxious to get the gears as my car is getting the timing belt done on Friday. -
I dont think the motor is different but i have been told that if i ever blow up my gearbox (i own a stagea) that the only Nissan box that will fit is the Stagea box. As i said maybe it is something to do with the driveshaft end rather than the motor side. I am just passing on what an importer told me. He was looking for a replacement box and had tried a few other (not certain which) but said only the Stag box would work.
