I dont think the stagea gearbox is the same as any other Nissan auto's. Ratio's are different and i beleive there is some problem with the bolt up of Stagea gearbox's to non stagea rb25. Dont quote me because i was a bit surprised about this when i heard it. Maybe it is the back of the auto box that is the problem rather than the bolt up to the motor.

Hold on! i own a mark 1 escort with sr20det. Runs 12's down the quarter and likes to spin the wheels at 100k plus. As for suspension i have bilstein coilovers up front and koni adjsutable shocks all round, whitleine sway bar, short ratio steering rack. r33 calipers on 300mm cross drilled disks, Borg Warner LS As for the imobiliser , why not install a cheapo battery cut off switch and tell em the job is done.

I had my just jap front pipe fitted yesterday and the fitter told me how tight it was and how it only had about 8mm of clearance so i understand your issue. My exhaust is now hitting but i think it is further back. Not sure how to fix this.

I have some basic 5 spoke 17' rims on. i call them bob jane specials as they look like every other 5 spoke rims you may see on a commodore or falcon. THey are not too bad and still have new tyres from compliance on them but i want something a bit more special.

I have a tannabe medalian series 2 exhaust on my series 1. It fits but needed to have the mounting brakcets bent to the left just wher the muffler exits at the back of the car. The problem you may have is if you have the dayz kit (you appear to) to bumper overrider only gives a specific point for the muffler to exit where the s2 bumper does not have the specific exit point so the muffler can exit anywhere. It just depends if the exhaust manufacturer has designed the series two muffler to exit at the same point. mine is on and fits alright
