  1. yea good point, have not seen him on for awhile.
  2. Nope nothing in there about the feedback l;oop dammm
  3. Yes indeed, the place where you are allowed to modifie your cars oh and have adjustable headlights in your R34!!! And i dont know your half arse english (suck a cawk brah) if its meant to be insulting sorry didnt work, if not sweet as mate..haha
  4. Hi need help Have setup my wasted spark system on my R34, built my own ignitor and used a VS coilpack, problem is i dont know what feedback the ECU is meant to recieve and hence i get the engine check light on.. anyone know the answer??? thanks
  5. First off leave Cara the f alone! I have just converted my ignition to wasted spark, its a shit load better, i did not use some old crummy R32 ignitor either i made my own, pcb, components the lot! i had to cut the end of my loom and wire it into my new setup so it was just plug in and play and i used a VS coilpack... Only issue i have is i have not figured out how to send the feedback loop to the ECU which means that the engine fault light stays up. anyone know how to fix this????
  6. Hi guys this one seem's like a hard problem to find! At idle there is a rubbing sound noise (rubbing is the best description i can come up with) it take the revs up just past 1500rpm, it then goe's away! i rev up to 4000rpm and take my foot off and around 1500 rpm it will hesitate before dropping to idle 900 rpm, as soon as it hits 1500rpm the rubbing/grinding noise comes back. Now i was thinking is it like a belt that sort of comes right when you get to a certain rpm (like an unbalanced wheel, you drive through the unbalanced point), but then i was thinking why does the motor hesitate right at the point it starts making the noise? Has it got something to do with the VCT? Anyone had this prob or got any ideas? cheers
  7. cheers for the info guys, i was going to get splitfires but had no cash and with the exchange rate at mo would cost me heaps (NZ $)... plus i wanted to build a circuit to market for the people who wanted the wasted spark setup but did not want to dick with old ignitor packs and looming, i now have a great ignitor circuit and looming and coil pack setup to start marketing that is plug in and play but still have to get around the 21 signal error cheers
  8. THE DIODE IS STOPPING ANY FEED BACK DOWN THE OTHER ECU SIGNAL WIRE! YES SIMPLE FIX. GOOD THOU.. IM BUILDING A BRAND NEW IGNITOR PACK FOR ALL S2 MOTORS
  9. hahahahahaahahahhahhhaha thats great, ive been driving for 18yrs and started driving in old school v8s and shit, stuff that does not drive it self like cars these days! so i can laugh.... but it sucks man hope you get it sorted and i should not make fun at you sorry.
  10. Hi i have been having random misfires after i have caned my R34, it has never beeen enough to bring up any fault codes so i assumed this was the coils starting to pack in. but i just started the car and error code 21 came up , remember this has been a off again on again missing problem for over a year and now it shows up a fault.. Does the ecu have a feedback sensor stating that a coilpack has died? if so how does it do this when there is only a 12v, a signal and a ground wire? or is the third wire a feedback wire?? i am building up an ignitor pack as we speak just getting the dwell timing right and a few more bits and pieces together but i am wanting to know how the ecu recieves its feedback and if there is a feedback loop? cheers
