Hi what are the brand of mags you are running on your vehicle?

that makes it a hell of alot easier then! so did you use an R32 or R33 ignitor? also i did a search but could not find it, what catagory? and you did this on a R34? sory for being the question master haha

Hi im looking for a circuit diagram for either a R32,R33 series 2, this could benifit anyone who wishes to use a wasted spark setup on there R34 as i will be designing an ignitor setup with a VS coilpack. cheers for any assistance.

Yes the thread has lost its way but its a dam good topic i think and its good hearing other peoples opinions! Hi just wondering if you are implying that you have to have a turbo or supercharger to be a performance car? funny caus i have diffinitly blowen away a few R32,R33 turbos since i have upgraded my beast, at first it was a bit sluggish but once i opened the intake/exhaust, placed a interceptor air/fuel adjuster and removed the fan it its way better, next will be dyno tune and after i save enuff i will be bolting on a charger unit, but hey im happy in the mean time. i have a low Ks sexy looking car which is the mintest car I have owned.... performance aint always a turbo/charger, and it aint all bout speed anyway. NOT SAYING THAT YOU WERE IMPLYING ALL THAT MATE cheers

As some have said the R34 is not a massively powerful car standard this is true but once modded even with no turbo my car is quite quik, a big car with significant power is not the best for a beginer, I admit my first car was a XRfalcon 1967 had a 302w in it 4sp, now it was a big car and quite grunty for a first car but i had quite a bit of experiance and room to drive it safely and i respected it caus i rebuilt the motor and paid for it out of my pocket, this is besides the point, we can not get our message across to these people. let them kill there mates and themselves and hopfully not others, the more stupid drivers out there the harder the road laws are getting soon your 1st car will have to be a 1300cc, In NZ we have out of controll idiots who think they can drive and get fast little cars and they end up killing people, at least one crash every 3wks lately. Have fun while it lasts!!! pay your own bills.......yes i would take a car from my parents only if i had no other way and i wouldnt expect anything over a $4000 its just wrong im a adult not 16.....

hello this may have been mentioned before, sorry, i need to know what bosch coils i should buy? i have seen it done before but could not get the info (i dont want to buy spitfires). looked on the bosch site but no help, have heard xr8 or xr6 replacement coils will work? who knows please help. i have a R34 2.5 neo!

yes there is heaps of threads on this but none to do with later models, i have heard about the vct on the neo heads can sometimes put the timing out

HELLO i own a R34 coupe 2.5ltr neo, tiptronic auto ewww, has a K&N air filter, removed the cat, new iridium sparkplugs, well serviced only done 100K... the problem is i fill it up at $80-$90 right to the top about 60ltrs i think and it only goes as far as 400k-430k depending on how i drive it!!! ive had it hooked up on the scanner tool and all the sensors are fine. thinking of some performance chip in future aswell but not if it going to drain more fuel and yes i will be getting and exhaust extractor and putting a manual in soon .. the point is that i should get 100km to 9.5ltr-10.5ltrs of gas.. any ideas if there could be something else wrong...cheers

cheers mate, just to clarify the diagnostic issue the plug to do it on is just under the drivers dash on a clip type setup? also i have to short the two wires that state chk and ign? i thought doing that just cleared the error codes? its not as easy as the VL setup i used to do maybe im just getting stupid. cheers in advance. i am if you can be bothered any chance you could step by step instruct me,

yes i agree but im stating that how can nissan charge a hell of a lot more money then honda for there cars, and yes i know one reason is that nissan is BETTER haha

haha well yes it is a tiptronic but hey i get as quick or quicker gear changers then some, also it is realivty stock at the mo, but still out of the factory for both cars it would seem the Honda is still quicker. my one is a non turbo but i still got alot of torque !

also do you know how to check out the O2 sensor as in put a multimeter on it and check the OHMs to see what value the O2 is and what it should be cheers?

hi i didnt say i was getting beaten everytime, my skill is quite sufficent as my first car when i was 15 was a 351 xr falcon 67 and i have driven many a old school and quite a few modern japs, the point is that for the money you pay and the rep of the skyline i would assume that some 94 integras that are worth a smidging of the price are just as quick, maybe the Vtec is more supperior then the VCT the skylines have?
