  1. Yavuz is a legend, had alot of tuning done by him.
  2. Thanks for the welcome Im from Sydney, Castle hill, workshop was down the road from me. I've spent 3 months trying to fight it, but it seems im getting nowhere. Just totally exhausted mentally to even waste another attempt with the workshop, there completely ruthless. The stock rb26 was running the same setup perfectly fine for close to 2 years, 14,000 kms. Yes the invoice was itemised for parts and labour. Just shopping around now for a reputable place for a rebuild now. Main things i need a warranty and experience, compare prices and see. Not willing to keep the car of the road any longer, hopefully in a few months time. Last thing i want is another poor build.
  3. Hello Guys, Dont really come online much, just a few questions. Long story short for anyone interested. Currently running a rb26 in my 180sx and at the start of the year planned to get more power so i had all the bolt on mods already and tuned. Running std internals i opted for a rebuild to go forged, took it to a workshop in Sydney and had the work carried out. Top brand internals were used and invoice cost over 10k, basically dropped the car of there and returned with all work done. A few days later i notice smoke out the exhaust and motor wasnt running properly. So i took it back the same day, left it over at the workshop to sort out. The response was compression down on 4 cylinders, anyway they're not willing to sort out the problem and im just exhausted now. Time to move on and found out that the motor was a rush job with poor quality and workshop not willing to accept any responisibility. 10k down the girgular oh well, expensive past time. Want to know of reputable workshops which provide warranty for built motors, honest workshops who will provide warranty. I'll phone around and get quotes and see what is the best value for money. Also prices you've paid for built motors just to know the ball park figure to accept. Thanks Guys
  4. R.I.P so sad to hear, very upsetting, the boys were hills shire locals A friend was driving thru to Seven hills me being passenger and got pulled over by hwy patrol on quakers hill parkway. Copped a red label and defect notice had to get towed home, fair enough cop the punishment for illegal mods. Wasnt expecting to get done in the west, he took the gamble. Anyway, officer went on to spray about the crash this morning and illegal racing. Its just so sad that theres this huge persona advocated by the media that were all into illegal drag racing, drifting on streets and so on. Hope this hits home, that no matter how good your car is setup and how well you are as a driver, its not worth it. Too many variables on the street and don't fall into peer pressure. Track is where most of us guys push ourselfs and cars and im just upset that people still risk there lives, its not worth it. Just found this video *edit by mods: video removed, it was innacurate reporting and does not help any of us to watch*
  5. i was suprised with the handling and balance the new f6. It felt so well balanced and smooth through corners, no shutters through the cabin or no harsh ride. Pushing hard threw corners it felt very forgiving and was nothing what i expected from the car. My 32gtr with coilovers and simple suspension mods still feels it has more grip, especially around corners and things but it comes at a price of rattles and harshness. IMO i think the f6 will be a great car as a daily driver performance car, but i dont own a 34gtr so i cant really compare the two to say which is better. I figure insurance and servicing will be cheaper which are key aspects of a daily driven car. my 2cents
  6. I had a Python 881xp alarm system, and it was installed by my best mate who is a auto electrician. After i got money from the insurance i just bought a brand new corolla, tried getting over the whole car scene. Just a reliable daily, good on petrol and very cheap in insurance still got it, over 1 year old now. Few months ago i decided i buy a weekend car and got the 32 GTR. Just a cheap mongoose alarm system in it atm. It hardly gets driven maybe once a fornight, parked in a very safe garage. Considering a tracking alarm system where you pay a monthly fee and theyll tell you the location of your car, and if or when it gets stolen.
  7. Hope you find it really soon. Keep looking dont give up. Im looking at some sort of tracking device for the skyline, i believe thats the best solution. I had a pager alarm system and immoboliser on my integra type r and it still got stolen. It was gone pretty fast . Just happy i had insurance to recover most of the costs.
  8. Thats gotta be far, the hottest looking skyline!! Absolutely gorgeous, really everything about it is just perfect. I bet it took a lot of fiddling around and effort, top work!! Makes a great wallpaper too!!
  9. Only use weight reduction measures seriosuly for trackdays or drags. Take out back seat, spare wheel, subs, anything heavy, carbon fibre bonnet, half tank fuel. Light weight rims make a big difference in speed also.
  10. Excellent News!! Im wrapped for you guys, hope the evo gets located very soon also. 3 arrested , i hope the police release there info to the public.
  11. Post up info on all the stolen parts so if we come across any workshop with a rare or specific part you mentioned you can take matters further. By not posting what is stolen we cannot guage if it was possibly from Just Jap or not. To the thieves your gonna get caught anytime and rot in jail and turn into a vegetable, cause thats what you deserve you low life scums. Hope it all works out and ill spread the word.
  12. What internals you got in the engine ?? Whats the tune like a/f ratio, can you provide dyno charts ?? Hows 2nd and 3rd gear syncros in the gearbox ??
  13. Impressive now the V-spec version should beat those times hopefully. Yanks are building impressive kits now, not just all grunt.
  14. Hello guys, New to this forum, from a motorcycling background had a nasty crash at Oran Park. Hurt my confidence alot :-(. So i thought ill see how much fun a r32 GTR would be but nothing comes close to bikes the rush is just so unreal. Love the R32 GTR great car, alot safer too. Race bike NC30 VFR400 btw, great on track have a ball all the time.
  15. The 180sx are great cars lite weight and fast and good for drifiting if ya wanna do it. The 180sx with sr20det and s15 turbo stock boost and fmic pulling times like low 13s and mid to high 12s. But skylines ppl think look nicer your opinion. 180sx or skyline r33 gtst both great cars mate wont lose on either purchase.
