I got done for this when the laws first came out in late 2005, in an R33. Same situation, was out drifting with the boys in the wet, and took a wrong turn with a mate in a old vl, went into a culdisack, turned around and I booted it in front of him, didn't go a K above 50, a cop saw it, called it a street race. I even flicked a ciggie butt and he said it was a hand signal saying GO! LMAO. So I got the solicitor the full monty, went to court. Got max penalty, 12 Months Disqual from driving, could not drive turbos for 3 years as new rules for P plates had come in, had to sell it, impounded for 3 months, had to pay towing fees, impound fees, court fees, solicitor fees, fine for racing was 1500$. LOTS of money. well over 3gs. I also had 2 suspensions which added to 6 months worth, so I lost it for 18 months. Basically your screwed, no matter what you do, you will get shafted by the homosexual hand of the law.

some nice 6 in 2 ways in the back of a skyline are excellent. Lets not forget the shape of a lines window the sound literally bounces off it and heads straight to the front. I found my rear speakers in my old 33 did a shitload of work and made much better sound than my stupid shaped commodore that needs 6 speakers to sound as good *Cough Focal FTW*

where do you buy them in NSW? Do you have to order internationally from www.do-luck.co.uk? If you buy the GTR Kit from this website, as they don't have a GT-T kit, If you sourced GTR front guards and a GTR 34 Bonnet. Would they go together perfectly? What about the rear bar / skirts without having the flared rear on a GT-T.

I want this front on a GTT as well, anyone got more info

Hello, Coming from R33's I am thinking about getting a 34 soon. Only problem is I love the look of 34GTRs, but dont really like the stock 34 GT-T look. I really like the DO Luck GTR 34 Kit. But is this kit only for the GTR model? Basically I am wanting to know whats involved and maybe approximate costs in making a 34GTT look like a GTR, also what if you want to change the front and rear panels into the wider gtr style ones? Is this possible. So the GTR bonnet is different isn't it, so you need a new bonnet im guessing. Any links to people that do these things or pics of peoples cars who have done it would be cool. Just doing my research before I buy. Steveo

I used Focal K2's 6.5in Spilts in the front and then 6inch 2 way Focals in the rear parcel shelf. Sub setup in the boot. IMO Focal is the way to go. xD Not cheap but top sound.

I think I paid 1500ish to send a skyline from Syd - Perth. And Recently I paid the same price to send a Commodore from Sydney to Darwin. Selling interstate is the new way to go lol Yeah I had a inspector inspect it and email the buyer, and took huge photos in high resolution of every panel of the car even underneath it.

Situation: 2 cars, 1 VL Stock Shitbox, 1 33 GTS-T 96 SII Silver basic basic mods, end of a culdisac, lined up next to each other, skyline accelerates, pulls in front of VL by MAX 80km/hr. Speed limit 60km/hr. I had changed to seconds about a second before I saw flashy lights. Police block off the end of the road, invite 4x detective unmarked vehicles, they approach us hand on holstered weapons. Cops had no speed radar, but told by visual assessment qe were doing well over 120km/hr! Policemen claims me flicking a cigarette out my window was my hand indication of GO! RACE! In court police claimed I skidded a huge distance to a grinding halt. To which I replied not possible as I have ABS and brand new brakes. Takes skyline and vl, impounds 3 months, court result - guilty as charged - license gone 1.5 yrs, charged with street racing. On return of license, I have restrictions on my license so forcibly had to sell the car. Not to mention all the thousands in fines / court / solicitor costs. Location: NSW Sydney.

Hello, I have previosly owned 2 96, R33 GTS-T's. I am now looking to get another one with big plans for big mods. The previous two which I owned were imported through a small import business which since the financial downturn has closed down. Both cars were excellent pristine examples of their class, low kms, immaculate original condition. Only mods were things like HKS exhausts etc. Which are great addition as those parts are very expensive. Now that this person is no longer in the business, I am unsure what other trusted people are out there for top of the line cars. I really enjoyed the import process waiting for it to get here and get complied etc, and I don't know why but id rather get a car fresh from japan than buy it off a similar person to myself locally? Where do all you guys get your good skylines from?
