Question About Exhaust Systems

i have finally brought my exhuast system 2.5 cat back system which i got from just jap with a huge cannon on the rear with a 5 inch tip it sounds fantastic but i need to add a resonator to it as its a tad to loud for me -
daaler exhausts - 500 Station Street, Box Hill has anyone tryed there resonator that they claim it will be under 90db i just got my exhuast system and it is a bit loud in low revs as i cruise its really not that loud just mainly hums but when i boot it the exhuast gets very loud im thinking of going down to daddler exhuast's ( Box Hill ) to buy the resonator and fitting it in myself

guys i get all my parts form gary rogers nissan in Glen Waverly ( Melbourne) just remember my buying power is different to use all it actually helps when u spend over 100k a year in spare parts so my discount is fantasic and im not with any club

the whole job does take about 3-4 hours to do

ive replaced my timing belt myself which i bought from nissan and i paid $40 for the belt to me $102 should be if your replacing all 3 belts

just shop around good im sure you will find some cheap enough its tough to find the right deal

i have full cover on my R33GTS25 ( 4 Door ) its insurerd with lumley and general i pay $700 for the whole year and thats with 5 loss's of liscence including a drink drive conviction just remember your age plays a big factor

I want to buy a Exhuast system for my R33 4door non turbo im getting some prices on a few stianless steel japanese systems what i wanted to know if anyone has put any on there own car and how loud is it when i rang a few places they told me it would be to loud if i bought a HKS and other sorts of brands of exhuasts thanks in advance

no there not the same braking system as the gts take's nissan maxima brake pads -
meguiars have a swirl remover product ive used it before and it does help but what ever you do you wont get all the swirl marks out

well i had the same problem a few months ago i called nissan to see if they had a service kit for the auto they simply told me the filter thats in it is re useable so i took the pan of and clean the filter and placed it back and replaced the trans fluid so far its quite good the problem i had was it would shift straight into 3rd i rang a few people to see what the problem was and they all told me the auot is stuffed well it doesnt look that way does it check you filter in the auto my guess its blocked -
