  1. s13 and s14 silvia's in n/a format would be an option and at least there rwd........
  2. toyota mark 2 jzx110 would be my choice. do not go the ford route ...be fixing it every week. lol
  3. Interesting you say this, i noticed when changing the spark plugs in mrs ba xr6 turbo, it had ngk plugs im pretty sure same part number as rb25det plugs... i decided to get some geniune ford plugs, they were marked denso and only cost me $60 for the set... i was thinking of replacing my r34 with the same plugs from ford anyone else can confirm this will be suitable?
  4. i agree with bubba.. i had my auto serviced and while they were at it did the accumalator mod. cost me $20,shifts are instant and firmer..gets rid of that hesitation between gears. forget the shift kit in a stock street car its not needed.
  5. turbo version have to see it to beleive that... no doubt there will be an aftermarket turbo kit once the tuners get to them....
  6. cult drift car because of initial d and drift king keichii tsuchiya who started drift in the ae86 might have something to do with it!...they are harder to drift there abit underpowered compared to more modern turbo charged cars 200sx etc .... but they can be drifted competitively if set up right! i like them nothing like a screaming modded 4age n/a....
  7. looks like it runs standard height! cool though
  8. just seen a article on the subaru version it wont have 4wd or turbo either, very little subtle differences... badge engineering at its best lol... i personally like the style of the ft86 and the use of the boxer engine, but have to agree that a turbo variant would of been ideal.. more torque required! who knows maybe they will have a limited run where they offer some sort of forced induction kit....
  9. i agree with you in regard to auto corollas, also a later model impreza rs 2009 forward would be something to consider, slightly bigger and good quality...
  10. just bought this game after playing for a few hours im impressed , it improves on forza 3 graphics and sound wise... i do wish there were more oldschool jap cars. i have played gt5 as well, and i prefer the forza driving physics. gt5 fell short of my expectations after waiting for it so long...
  11. 5k gtr..... basic oil change not done in 20k..... no doubt every fluid will need doing sounds poorly maintained.... no doubt other issues will come up too....
  12. remove as much weight as posible may give you the extra performance you want!... lol just kidding mate
  13. dont think the clear indicators are going to fit a r34 front bar....
  14. non turbo saab not exactly known for performance..
  15. yeh thats my experience.... i have had some of the issues i mentioned... i still love driving it thou so figure that out! ....Would i buy another Ford probably not!
  16. my wife has a ba xr6 turbo , i cant recommend you get one even if it's just a xr6, its a pos...sure it goes hard stock, looks good for a large sedan, heaps of interior room... but be prepared for driveline clunks, ive had on going issues with bad idle, brake shudder and warping discs, f**ked bushes. Shit build quality/parts used is the problem... steer away from the Ford! even later models like bf etc have these type of issues ocurring... Nothing wrong with a na r34 Manual, while on your p's.... obviously wont be as quick as the turbo variants but who cares... suspension work and intake and exhaust should keep you happy for few yrs..
  17. had a vn commo was a boat, shit fuel economy ...but it did good burnouts....a had shift kit,lsd 3.7 gears, headers, sports exhaust, dropped on its guts, was quick in a straight line.
  18. my ke35 is 4age powered, when i did the conversion i left brakes and diff standard items with plans to upgrade... my money ran out and i got over it so 4 yrs later i still run standard diff and stock brakes and have not had a problem... but my car is not a track car...
  19. i wouldnt by the 280zx then.... if you go oldschool get something more common you dont want headaches sourcing parts... you may be better of with a late 80's to mid 90's car if you dont want to spend to much time modifying and replacing things ! mechanically will be better than a 280zx or 120y lol and will be fun with very little mods...
  20. nothing worse than a owner who dont know shit about the car he selling, did he steal it? lol you might have to expand your search interstate i noticed there not much to choose from in W.A
  21. do it behind her back lol she will probably call you after its done to tell you the car aint running right haha
  22. i thought they were all L28 2.8.... wtf going on there... manual conversion, lowered, superlight wheels... will look sweet....
  23. those 120y coupe rear i never liked.... the sedan looks much better....
  24. go a ke corolla im biased thou heres mine... 4age screams loves to rev and goes hard such a light car...
  25. go a ke corolla i have a ke35 with a 4age... can be built or bought for under 5k... but if you want to throw it around corners might be worth looking at ke 70 as there coil sprung rear end easier to modify to handle better...or even better a ae86.... but for 5k youd be getting a aus delivered one with a 4ac motor or a really dodgy/thrashed 4age converted one!
