i have the same squeek at idle goes away while driving..... not sure if its the belts or what.... sounds real dodgy when idleing and gets louder when its hot and been driven for a while.....could it be the cooling fan bearings?

good points guys.... by the time it gets down here it would of been more. interesting none the less jdm prices are pretty cheap.

oops i skipped that post prices are in yen i found a conversion chart online so its telling me gtt were around $31000 aud new thats cheaper than i expected.......

when u buy a car second hand would be nice to know how much they were new!

in other words no one knows what they went for new.......

i was thinking for my r34 sedan jpncab or japcab but then i thought its abit of a put down hehe

i had the same question/concern as my r34 does not make boost when revving it while stationary which is normal.... but my friends r33 does make a small amnt of boost while stationary....

another one is my g/f's old telstar the passenger seat mount broke hence i put a brick underneath it and a steering lock wedged from the back seat to keep the seat upright!

yeh its easy once u got the old steering wheel off.....getting the boss kit straight can be annoying as steering will be off if wheels arent exactly straight.

my brakes do the same.... at low speeds or when reversing doesnt seem worth worrying about as long as plenty of meat left on em...

that does not look like afactory finish... if it is thats abit dissapointing......

a friend of mine had an old hilux (paddock basher) the passenger door swung open while driving and it snapped off of the body wear the hinges are attached, due to rust!..... we welded the thing on and it lasted another couple of years!

thought it would be good to hear what dodgy stuff ppl have done to there cars... i have on previous cars cut springs... used speaker wire to wire up stuff (driving lights/guages)......used gaffa tape on rust and painted over it (old Bomb)

these f*&^rs goin around keying cars should be shot.... anyway my previous car was keyed didnt fix it till i got a full respray, color matching can be a prick if paint is showing its age what color is ur caR?

they go for less than the turbo model id say 15k to 18k.... weird even redbook online aint got the car listed.... only turbo models.

abit late u fix the adsl connection yet? if not there should be a shortcut on ur desktop which will bring up the password screen, if not try reinstlling software cd... make sure all the phones / foxtel box (digital) have line filters this could disrupt the adsl causing it not to work. you could even disconnect phones and watever else on line and try running wizard hopefully the connection works. for further help try calling ur isp they will talk you through it!

bought gt pro series game.....came with steering wheel for wii controller gameplay is nuts as well as drift mode.... steering is motion left to right feels great. graphics are bad thou looks like a bad ps2 game!

you could buy some replacemnt blades its just clipped in from memory. and paint the bottom bit which it connects to....

save abit more and get a frog eyed rexy i think there end of 2000 model??.... or a r34 gtt... r32 looks better than a 98 wrx my opinion.

had the same issue turns out sensor in dash was disconnected..... the one to the left of the steering wheel (r34)..... plugged it back in and climate control works again.....

shouldn't be hard it all bolts.... need some stands or even ramps to get under the car....

noticed my boost guage starts playing up generally after giving the car a boot full the guage drops off and doesnt work.... but then suddenly starts working again... could it be a leak or loose wiring?

sounds about right for that price x force aint as expensive as the hks and wateva else...... if u aint mechanically inclined you would have to pay to get it installed..... some of the bolts will be hard to get loose.
