try using a hair dryer, should come off easier...

i asked the same question no answer, ive tried removing it.. was tight as so i gave up....i just bought a carbon fibre look trim and stuck it on top, looks good....

i myself just got a cat back exhaust in my r34gtt and feel a difference in power..... like alot of ppl in here id say do the whole thing.... the rear muffler is quite restrictive.... power from cat back is said to be 10 rwkw or so...... i think theres more gain from doin the front dump and cat but u need the cat back to get the most out of it....

on another thread someone suggested model spray paint... i remember spraying models plastic bits it came up really schmick. could try some of that!

with 2 pac im sure u need to buy some hardener also...

my r34 window trim is abit tattered.... its got that carbon fibre look vinyl from factory i believe, where can i get some replacement vinyl....i know it comes in rolls but havent seen it at any stores....

hi ppl today had some time removed lower dash and plastic face around dials, plastic tube was plugged in however wire connector was not... this most likely was left disconnected when i had tacho problems and took it back to car yard.... they just left it disconnected......... thanks 666dan & n15mo for helping out that aircon diagnostic tool is cool! alll back to normal now.......

when the alarm was being installed i noticed black plastic tube no wires, asked installer what it was, he advised thats for climate control and plugged it back in...he advised he didnt unplug it. is that all it is or is there actual wire connector???? thanks in advance if anyone can confirm this! also got a flashlight and shined it into little grill.... there nothing there besides a small metal wire and round plastic surround... maybe there is no sensor in there already!

thanks for that ran diagnostic test... in the temp display screen ambient sensor showed 19.5'c, in vehicle sensor showed 30'c and intake air temp sensor showed 17'c. so am i right in saying in vehicle sensor is not working as it was definatly not that hot? is this sensor the one to the left bottom of the steering wheel???

would that cause the climate control to not work properly as i posted if it was faulty??

thats unusual... is it securely fitted.....dirty maybe?

yeh its worn, u should try replacing gearbox fluid and add some additive, should improve it.......

no probs ull find u need to do it every couple of months becos they fog and fade.....

on my old car not a skyline the fan control resistor burnt out and aircon wouldnt work.... it could be this but i couldnt tell u where thats located..... any competant auto elec could help

well u can try some polish and machine buff should come up good

no idea....cleaned plug and also cleaned temp sensor in dash with compressed air it was dusty as.... still not working properly...... on the top of the dash what is that sensor for.....??? circle looks like a solar panel on passenger side?

thanks for that had a look its plugged in..... i think it may be the temp sensor in the car to the left of the steering wheel itself is faulty or dirty........

I have a problem with my air con, it only blows out cold air when set at 18 degress. As soon as you adjust the temperature to 18.5 or above it changes to the heater setting. It stops blowing out cold air and starts to blow out warm air. Has any one had this problem before? know what is causing it? or knows how to help?

the dial on my switch was ripped off, and they stuffed the plastic up...... wonder why they take it off.......

yeh should just be left alone...... u think if i source a new switch n plug it in it will work? or do they disconnect anyrthing else???

my switch was also taken out during compliance i think.......no control knob however behind where the switch use to be i c a wire harness can this be reconnected???
