what is a dose pipe?...... i have seen muzzas in Vl turbos running metal air intake pipe from turbo with no filter to the front bar of car... is that what u want?
as the title shows my outer tie rod ends are worn so im looking at replacements.
Oem nissan ones are expensive like $200 for the pair.
Did some searching and found that part number pte 926-14 is the aftermarket type which pedders have for $70 a pair and bursons have them in stock for $55 a pair,
before i buy them i rang a reputatble suspension joint who advised he didnt think they would be the right part and advised they have a more expensive item in stock.......
now the part number PTE 926-14 comes up on pedders online as for the r34 gtt , its also the same part number for r33 gtst howver r33 have three different options depending on there series...
Can Anybody clarify if the part will fit a r34 gtt???
im considering calling mv having it sent down and having someone install there kit here... im just surprised knox advised they wont do it for the r34 anymore when its sounds like half the ppl on here went there! r33 no problem but the r34 auto is a problem apparently.....
anyone know another place who can do it in melb???
update guys i rang knox auto and they advised me they dont do r34 shift kits anymore.. they suggested mv auto in adelaide! wtf is it with lack of shops which will do the job in melb!
looking at getting a shift kit in my r34 gtt tiptronic auto. i know knox auto do a stage 2 for a good price.... but since i live in the northern suburbs i rang preston auto & diffs who wont touch it, they advised GZM automotive can do it.
Gave this mob a call and they advised they do a stage 3 shift kit(still has auto change function)....but they modify the currant valve body and cost $550.......my question is i know knox auto do the stage 2 shift kit for around the $450 mark.... do they modify the current valve body or do a change over??
thanks
like has been said springs are cheap enough..... but if ur going to cut just dont cut off to much , maybe 1 coil and smooth off the top so it sits flush.... or just take the springs out ride on the bump stops like most commodores. haha
id be going the nistune route mate.... safc arent that much cheaper and you got to get it instlled and tuned anyway.....also upgrade the fuel pump... i would also consider getting a shift kit stage 2 in the auto get the lazy auto box shifting gears more firmer.....
shouldnt have issues jumping the car like this....
the car with the good battery you connect the jumpers as normal ont he battery terminals, the car with flat battery connect the + terminal to battery and - terminal to ground on the body somewhere like e.g strut bolt.... wont cause a problem...
with lows springs the stock shocks should be fine... the shocks are probly worn already if its a r33 getting on in age....so on the cheap id use kyb inserts....i have had cars with 2 inches lower on stock shocks and the ride is ok in the begining ... saying that they were destroyed/leaking and not doing there job after 6 months. haha.....
my car on cold start up in tip tronic mode does not shift to 4th, i notice once it gets up to operating temp it shifts fine. maybe its some kind of factory setting... i assume...i havent tried going faster when cold and changing after 80km/h thou...
