the nav/radioradio is useless in oz.... id just upgrade to aftermarket stuff..... or get the triple gauge cluster set....

mate why stuff around doing a conversion... buy the manual if u want a manual, if ya can live with the auto buy that and purchase a shift kit.....

i have a pod filter set up now, made a custom box and trimmed top half of airbox to fit the box.... for cold air as i have the stock cooler in my r34.........i prefer the sound of the pod and there is abit more response.......i was using a blitz sus power non oiled panel filter which was and improvement on stock item.......wont be going back to it now as i have hacked my airbox lol........anyone want the blitz filter drop me a pm and come pick it up! its like new..

i would be changing the thermostat, flushing the coolant and getitng the radiator flushed/cleaned by a shop just in case its blocked. do the cheap things mentioned first hopefully fixes the problem.

maybe it would be just the overdrive button.....that would be cool in a r34 auto in my experience 4 speed tip tronik box seem to rev out to much, not very cruisey needs a fifth gear...

i bought a cheapy with the random rotation so kind of rotates of centre... worked well on my black car supposivly get less lines, streaks buff marks... obviously the cheaper ones dont have the power but for a light buff they do the job!

check the hoses for cracks might b vacuum leak....

is mv autos the only place that does the shift kit for the r34 auto..... anywhere in melb got the know how???

there little light bulb/leds in actual unit... there was a thread on how to replace em....some of mine are blown too!

yeh mate get the spacers......or u could also grind/shave abit of the caliper with a grinder.....ppl say dont do it but i have done it in the past with no probs. 3 to 5mm is nothing....

i have been told it might be an exhaust manifold leak may need a gasket?? hopefully turbo not on its way like the thread starters car........ i dont really have the patience to pull the thing apart.... time to take it to a workshop.....the joy of turbo cars ! hehe

my r34 has the same high pitched sound at the moment sounds like it from the vicinity of the turbo mine still makes boost thou 10psi but it screaming, screech sound is terrible......i thought it mite be a boost leak but i aint found it......

ended up replacing the thermostat and all is good again! happy about it could of been alot worse....

my g/f car has developed a weird problem honda civic 95 model, car will go up to normal temp just under half way on dial and stay that way if moving along, once it idles say in traffic 4 5 mins the needle goes up to halfway then fan kicks in fine, however the needle continues to clime 3/4 up has not overheated yet however, but once starts moving goes back down to half or lower...... coolant has been flushed im thinking it the thermostat maybe? ?

noticed on weekend when car reaches 8 to 10 psi of boost i get this weird noise all of the sudden.... it hard to explain its like a metal screeching noise......car runs fine. only does it on higher boost......car has stock turbo running 11psi from turbotech boost valve...could the turbo be on its way out or a boost/vacuum leak?

thought it would be abit noisy....... try getting a oval muffler with off set inlet outlet otherwise probly still be quite loud!

r34 stock turbo rear mufflers have a valve on right side which opens when more gas needs to pass.....never heard of it swapping sides thou.... should be coming out the left unless the valve opens up...... how is the turbo set up noise wise on the n/a??

the stock guage is known to just drop off stop working. get urself a aftermarket mechanical boost guage....as for engine light not sure....

who installed it? all wired up correctly!?
