  1. FINALLY got my remap done after sorting out alot of other issues. Modifications are as follows - 3" to 3.5" turbo back exhaust, pod, splitfire coilpacks, 10psi, front mount intercooler - made 164rwkw on a dyno dynamics. Since then I have boosted it to 12psi and remapped with a Toshi road tune (quite freaky looking out for cops) then went on another dyno dynamics and got 190rwkw. With the road tune, I decided to make it a safe tune with no knocking with margin for summer days. If I pushed the tune to slight knock I would have made 200 easily but then have to spend thousands replacing/fixing an engine when the summer heat has toasted it. With the first test remap, straight away I could feel the better response and after that it just got better until I had to settle for less power but safer ride. On the dyno graph the curve is smooth as and my AFR sat on 11.6. Sorry I will not be posting up the graph since on the second and third run my boost just died in the ass and ran 7psi and YET I still made 190rwkw but the AFR was at 12.8 which is the cause for the same power output. Most likely I have a leaking blow off valve as my hoses were not leaking nor blown off. To add, if I had an electronic boost controller which kept the constant 12psi at high end I would have seen a figure closer to 200 as my boost dropped off to 10psi due to the manual boost tee. Just some food for thought. Anyways, I have been to Toshi a few times to get a remap but had so many problems that occured and he has helped me along the way free of charge. Very nice to work with and extremely helpful. Maybe he wants business but to me thats great business ethics. He doesn't want to give you the best power output for the sake of saying he can tune it for the best power, but he advises on what he thinks is a safe tune that will keep your car running healthy (unless you say other wise). Long story short - VERY happy with the remap!
  2. Which wastegate option did you buy this with?
  3. What R33 did this come off?
  4. You only want cash your way? Not interested in any upgrades?
  5. Where are you located? PM sent anyways.
  6. very slow market.. you have no idea.. i think the skyline phase has just passed.. wait awhile and it shall come back! i think its the s15 phase still, ive had my car on the market for awhile too.
  7. +1 Haha saw you the other day when i turned to go past rosemeadow shops. Palmer that is.
  8. Where abouts do you live? Are you testing on the highway in 4th or 5th? Those are the only gears you need to test. Put the gain to 5% which is the base. Put the set to about 20%. Lower your starting boost to say 4psi. Now, run your car in 4th and see what your gauge says. Adjust ONLY your set until you roughly get near the boost you want before it starts to drop off at high end rpms. After that, if your boost falls off, increase the gain by 1% and see how you do. If you no longer experience boost drops but the boost is too high, reduce the SET by 2% and see how that goes - up by 1% if that was too much. Once you are getting what you want, then increase the starting boost until your limiter screams by 1psi at a time. Once your limiter goes off, reduce the starting boost by 1psi and that will be your nominal starting boost.
  9. Don't you wish you kept you car stock haha I feel like that when I start modifying. Should have just saved up and bought a R34 GTR with all the money I have wasted. Thats what I worked it out to be! A R34 GTR!
  10. If I remember from my old tune, start boost was 8psi - gain was at 6 - set was 18. So when you drive around to tune it, fiddle with it from there and you should be fine. Basically GAIN is the fine tune and SET is the main control for the duty cycle of the solenoid/gate (can't remember which it controls). Hope that helps. I know tuning these are a pain in the ass which is why I now have a boost tee and use the EBC as a boost gauge.
  11. Its hard to copy settings as each car is a little different give and take a few changes. What mods do you have?
  12. Thats HP not KW!
  13. There is a thread on this to help you set it up. Cant remember from the top of my head but I will go through my favourites and post you a link. EDIT: search - "Tuning Your Greddy Profec 2"
  14. If you want to sell it for $50 pick up please let me know!
  15. Interested in the 4 channel amp! PM sent.
  16. What adapter has it got? Have you still got the hoses and bolts?
  17. any interior shots? what kind of car would you consider trading for?
  18. I did well and bad at the same time! I managed to achieve 207.4rwkw on 12psi, but my curve is ugly as. When I mean ugly, I mean a corolla would be ahead of my car until 4300rpms before I manage to catch up (yes I can even pin point my demise ). I need to change my gearbox then get a retune done by Toshi and I will get another dyno read out. Now that is a sexy curve! Congrats Jeff, all your hard work has paid off haha
  19. The gearbox still for sale? PM sent anyway
  20. Haha then why is this topic still alive!?
  21. Sadly there are people who fall for it and lose thousands of money to these con artists. The hype of owning an expensive item for a fraction of the cost clouds their judgement.
  22. Do you still have the front rio? I think I asked for the front bumper clips as well but don't remember if I got a reply.
