  1. Well I'm in a 34 so I still have 4k left to go before next gear haha but I never dropped out of boost. Once it was on, it was ON!!! On my setup, it started to build around 3800rpms so anything under that was a little boring. My old R33 GTR had -7s and I thought that was a really good setup, managed 320kws and the response was excellent. Perfect for track conditions but being such small turbos, they ran out of puff top end. I believe GTRSean has -9s which I've also been in and those were great turbos too. I do believe Levinboy has them too and his produced pretty good results.
  2. Just a little input, I had -5s on my rb26 on pump and full boost was at 5100 rpms. For track it was USELESS, for straight roads though it was marvelous! To make the -5s work, you really need to build the engine such as Piggaz which I've been in before but you have to build it correctly. I've also been in RS's with a standard 26 and you will notice the difference but again, either build the engine to suit the turbos, or pick the turbo to your engine. Again, I will just repeat what the others have already stated, E85 vs pump fuel is VERY different. Also, -9s may have good response but they run out of puff if you want start to aim for more power where as the -5s will be able to go a little further. I would say you have a few decisions to make before you make your choices (E85 or pump, 26 or stroker +, purpose of car, power vs response, etc).

Item: Stock injectors Price: $150ono Description: These were a spare set I had laying around the place just in case. Good condition.

  8. Yeah it WAS the Envy car but I went through the process of getting rid of EVERYTHING Envy ever did to it. There is a story but I'm not going to tell it here. Long story short, was not happy with the way the car was so I started all over again from scratch.
  9. I actually got that through JEM for a good price but you can get them through RHD Japan or Nismo themselves.

  11. Up for sale is my pride and joy but also my pain and suffering! I bought this car about a year ago off another SAU member pretty much stock with a built engine. As it turned out, I was unhappy with the old engine setup and have gone down the hard road (DON'T EVEN ASK ABOUT THE COST!!) of building an engine to my own liking. I only JUST finished the engine build and not even driven 10,000kms, I have decided to sell it to move onto other things. Had plenty of things I still wanted to do to this car but unfortunately I have grown tired and weary so now I am looking to downgrade. This car was built and tuned from scratch by JEM (Just Engine Management) who have spent countless hours (and alot of my drug money errr I mean hard earned cash) and even I am disappointed I did not get to finish this project, so the next owner will definitely enjoy a well built car and will grin from ear to ear every time! Will hand over receipts to the new owner just so they have proof of what has been done to the car. According to the after market cluster, the odometer reading is at 170,XXXkms but the engine itself has seen less than 10,000kms. I do not have a current shot of the engine bay, but do note that I have removed the twin air flow meters and replaced it with a custom single intake pipe with a single pod. Also, I have replaced the shroud over the radiator fan. This car does come with a warning: PREPARE LOTS OF TISSUES!!!   14. I can understand the officer "thinking" the noise level could be over the limit and getting your brother to prove them wrong.. but an on the spot fine? Didn't know they could do that.. Learn something new every day!! I'm guessing he will not only have to prove his car is under the limit but then also have to appeal the fine?
  15. Yeah, he takes photos of everyone and then sends you a cd with all the photos he took for the day. Nice guy. If you are worried, just ring Wakefield for his details as they know him as he is sort of their official/unofficial photographer.
