yeah looks nice but as you say i wonder about price. The problem i have with painting anything if i will be happy with the colour i choose. My car is silver but im torn between keeping the interior black and probably add like a metal flake (im leaning towards this cause my nismo gear knob is black) or go a silver. and do everything in the eye of my drivers seat, gear boot, guage mounts etc..... My question is if you go and paint the console silver does everyone have the cumpulsion to do everything to match it, or does silver and black make a good interior focal point? just wondering if anyone has gone with the half silver \ stock black scheme

Mobiles is nothing, i like watching the plus size people that chow down on a "works" hamburger steering with their elbows. Although i dont stay all that long watching them, but a good laugh never the less, except when they get some beetroot fall out and then take elbows off to fish around seat to get it out, then eat it lol. peak hour traffic you can see some sites.

Awesome Skyline Documentary
dane spec33 replied to Chris_R33GTSt's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Iv had the dvd for a while, it was a great doco and some mad skylines. Though only thing that was cutting into me was the narrator. lol pommies. On the dvd it has a special with just the camera shots and another two, three laps of the circuit, and the only talking is done by the rb26 as he puts it through the paces. I could sit all day and watch it. ps, im pretty sure the 34 aint a ztune (nismo) cause the dvd was realesed in 2003. Puts out some power still -
I suppose any HSV toolkit would have to contain the riveting short picture book, "Other Car Insults and Rhyming slang for the mentally challenged". Rhyming "Jap" with "Crap" genius

Revenge! Need Help To Get Back At A Pranksta
dane spec33 replied to GODTHRILA's topic in WA Wasteland
At work we have a new printer, so to try it out one of the boys just printed a shot of the main windows screen and taped it to another workers moniter( he's late 50's and not really into computers) imagine the whole office trying not to laugh when he came back and thought it had frozen. lol called the help desk and called a techo from jandakot, our office is in mandurah. For him to walk over immedietly looking at the screen and pulling the taped image off the screen. PRICELESS. -
what do you want to do with the car, or do you just want a powerful FR car, dont count out FF car's dude. Of course no rear wheel burnouts, but nothing handbrake cant fix

First drift comp that i have been to, lots of good driving and plenty of entertainment (the pink suzuki drift car), cant wait for the National comp in feb. Off topic, when i was driving up from the south, what was going on the mitchel, lots of police and people standing and looking over all the overpasses? A cruise of some sort?

Red Ps + 17years Old + Speeding Record + Skyline =?
dane spec33 replied to GTR Power's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Its not just performance driving that you have to aware of its real driving experience's that happen all the time, people cutting you off and certain braking defensive techniques that are easier to do in a lighter and less powerful car. Heavens known how many times i could've smashed the front of the skyline if someone had suddenly pounced on the brakes (learnt to be cautious now). I had friends go through their L plates and a bit of their P plates, not driving in raining or slippery conditions. Im sad to say that one of my friends died in the rain braking to late and ran into the back of a truck, driving a late model family car. learn the road before you get taught a lesson that you WON"T wake up from -
Red Ps + 17years Old + Speeding Record + Skyline =?
dane spec33 replied to GTR Power's topic in General Automotive Discussion
looks like you have your mind set on this, and i dont blame you, A skyline is a great car, but with a $15,000 plus car, and not having comprehensive insurance, are you willing to take that hit in the pocket, if (hopefully not) something might happen, out of your control or not. I know that i wont want to take that hit. I drove a camry for a few years until i bought mine and let me tell you, it just makes it sweeter when you do finally drive it off the lot. Im with the others and you should wait. Good luck which ever way you decide, it is a big decision -
wish i had rich parents lol nice car !!!!!

Cheers, guys, and gal for the replies, thanks for giving me advice and letting me know what you think, it really helps when your moding your car. Without alot of first hand knowledge myself (and none of my friends with an import turbo car). The only problem with that, is that everyone has there own opinions. Whether is through friends, family or first hand accounts each person puts good cases forward, in the end it is the owner of the car that has the ultimate decision. I'm not diving into modding my car with the perception that nothing will go wrong, because being on here and reading some tradgedy stories of engines blowing up and turbo's failing it comes to a point where you do realise that the world is not a perfect place. Now i have some thinking and number crunching to do, Early next year when work clears up, im sure to join skyline WA and hope to enjoy everything that this culture has to offer.

Hi, everyone I'v had a 95 r33 gtst for 8 months now and like most people that buy a skyline, mine hasnt skipped a beat since first driving it many months ago. As with everything though the power bug has bitten, and rims a catback exhaust, air pod and medium size hks fmic just doesnt do it for me know. So..... with close consideration of power and street, track use, this is what my list looks like at the moment Hybrid fmic KKR 480 turbo (internal gate) high mount man bigger injectors walbro fuel pump greddy plenum tein super st coilovers apexi power fc djetro AVC-r twin plate clutch and other little things, guages etc In another month or so, new 18 inch rims, bodykit (not over the top) 2 way lsd, hopefully that will keep me sustained for a bit. Living so close to the motorplex should make it down for few runs on the drag strip. Once i get dyno readout's il post them up, wish me luck

cheers for that, i was gonna take a cruise down tomoro, but now doesnt seem the drive up there is worth the entry fee + petrol. oh well down the rocko foreshore tomoro then
-
That question leaves alot open lol, Drag, circuit, street, drift? Support systems for the 300kw, ie clutch, tyres etc I know which one i would want to be seen driving
