  4. Contact your local CBC Bearings, they do a kit which replaces your seals/idler/tensioner/belt at a great price, plus all the stuff they use is genuine... just not in 'nissan' boxes I know, because I'm a Rep for them Kit will set you back around the $250 mark (with racing belt)

  8. I did my run in of my Cusco 2 way at the top of Old Pac in that big car park. I was stopped by coppers, I told them what I was doing... he then proceeded to tell me that he used to be in Mark Skaife's pit crew when he raced the 32... I guess I was just lucky But yes the throwing up is worth it, like any brake pad and/or clutch, if you dont bed them in evenly one side will lock sooner than the other, you can get vibration and all sorts of shit, trust me... i've seen it all!!! Even if you dont, let me put it this way: Its a $1000 part and its half-an our of your life... what have you got to loose?
  9. Ok, so the time has come to pick an engine for my next race car. I was aiming for an RB25DE NEO with some faily mild bits and pieces but trying to find exact info on these is hard. Ok's, so what exactly makes it (NEO) special from the 33 RB's and which is better suited to high revs? Whats the compression rating on both and the power output? The RB25DE run direct actuation lifters correct (SR Hydralic... Pfft) Would an RB24 (ie RB26 bits with Tomei Pistons) be better suited to a NA tune? What diameter are the GTR throttles? I saw there was a bit of a debate on whether turbo cams would be effective in an NA tuning situation... has anyone actually used turbo cams? Go easy on me... I'm a n00b to the Nissan
