Jack up your car and put the front wheels on stands. Riggle the front wheels with your hands left and right. also from the top and bottom. if you feel any play get someone to have a look underneath. check swaybar links, tie rods, ball joints, etc. Thats the basics =)

Gday all. First off i don't actually own a skyline, lol. Now your wondering why i would sign up to this sight? Well I am a (2nd yearm almost) Apprentice mechanic 18 and from SA and looking to buy a skywhine in the near future. Tossing up between R32 gts-t n R33 Gts-t series 2. Both with there pro's n con's obviously! Also have been reading up on rb30/25 combo and i really like what people have done by putting it in a document to help out people! Ill be scootering around the forums giving off my knowledge wherever i can and hope to learn more, specially performance side of things. Cheers! lartaaaaaaa

First off have a mate follow you and put your boot in it. Blueish smoke - oil black - unburnt fuel Then go from there! Cause ya don't want to start pulling down the motor or replacing the turbo then realizing it was just running rich on boost, or something =) I am only new to performance side of things, but i am a apprentice mechanic wanting to fill his brain with all the info he can get.
