Did the Stagea replace a wagon version of the Laurel, just as the Avenir replaced both the wagon versions of the Bluebird, and the Primera?

The 4 door models never had that much power. The GT-S only featured the RBs with that much power.

I know the Supra is their answer to the Z-car. Are the M, G, and JZ their answer to the RB? Is the VZ their answer to the VG? Are the MZ, and the GR their answer to the VQ?

The Q45 is a full-size car. The original generation was the North American version of the Nissan President, with the last 2 generations being the North American version of the Nissan Cima. In the Australian market, it is about the size of the Caprice/Statesman.
