I completely agree with Jess - This car is Malcolm's life. He has spent alot of time, money and effort on it to get it to where it is today. I do know that in 1993, 3 R33 GTST's were taken off the production line to be made into prototypes. 2 of those cars are either in bits and pieces or have been crushed into cubes. Malcolm's car is a GENUINE Nismo GTX-1 2500r Prototype. It is the only one left in the world - so i'm guessing its $$$ value would be close to $100,000 if not more, but what its worth to Malcolm is undescribable! Its like his child - and you can't put a price on something that means that much to you! If you have nothing nice to say, please don't say it. As i said, this car is like Malcolm's loved one. WHETHER YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND/HUSBAND/WIFE, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT THEM LIKE THIS!

Paul, Yes, there are still spots available, and as it is your business partners car - its bound to be some sort of weapon!!! We would love for he/ she to attend. Also gives you and stace an excuse to come drink and hangout with us.

Once again Corrine, If you don't have anything useful or nice to say, DON'T BOTHER SAYING IT!!!!!!! gt-ahhh! - according to myself, you have quite a strong case. If it is as straight forward as you said it is, i don't see hwy you would lose. You are most likely suffering from age discrimination. It has happened to me before, i was gonna get the cop in a lot of trouble, but it aint worth it. I was driving home one night and went through an intersection at 30k's next to another car when the light changed to orange, and then red as my front wheels went over the line. I crossed the line before the car next to me, but the cop decided to change direction and follow me for 500m before he pulled me over for a random breath test. Told me a ran a red light light etc etc and i asked him if he got the rego of the other car as it would be only fair to charge the 70yr old female driving it too. He directly told me that as a P plater, i am an easier target and that they would defiantely go for me first - i was driving my mum's corolla FFS... I told him to his face in a polite manner that it was harresment and i didn't appreciate it. I asked the cop for his full name and badge number thingy and told him that as soon as i got home, i'd be back up at the police station with my father and my lawyer. He said there was no need for that, and that he would let me off without a charge or any sort of recording.

I heard off an experienced mechanic that remapping a standard R33 ECU works really really well, unitll a while later when it absolutely farks out and stops working... Is this true?

Yeah, you will need to get longer bolts... mine are bout half inch longer or so... i was contemplating buying another bonnet to cut up myself... Fricggen SII so expensive

I can tell you that it is your BOV. How do i know this?? i learnt the lesson myself. you won't have the problem if you put the standard one back on. It is called reversion. REVERSION - Reversion occurs when some of the burned exhaust gases are pushed back into the combustion chamber and intake system during valve overlap. This is caused by exhaust manifold pressure exceeding intake pressure or by shock waves in the exhaust ports and manifolds.

I'm running 18 x 10.5 on the rear of my R33 GTST - looks like a gtr because of it, and gets traction just like one... car kinda doesn't even spin in the wet... downfall, 265x30x18 aren't cheep at all

UPDATE - Page 1 - First post. We need entry forms to be filled out and returned to DRD-00F on fax number (02) 9488 7761 asap We also need people to start organising their money. It is up to you how much space you would like to display your car. It costs $100 per space plus $40 to cover power and flooring etc etc. I myself am paying for two spots, some may choose to do the same, some might not.
