yeh i tried like 4 places and tried toyo distributor. they said the fronts about late november was the best and rears after christmas. i ended up ordering a set of advan sport v103 today so will put them on some time next week.

Looking for some new tyres, 235/40/18 for front and 265/35/18 for rear. Spoke to some tyre shops about T1R's but they wont have the fronts for 3 months and the rears for something like 6 so i'm not gonna bother with them. Got some prices on yoko advan sport v103: 235/40/18: $404 each 265/35/18 $525 each I thought these prices were damn expensive. I read a few people have had these tyres on their cars but can they give an update on how they are wearing and performing now? Are these tyres worth spending that much on? What else is there?

Have some 18" tyres for sale that are in basically new condition. These are high performance tyres and alot of people are happy with them as said in the tyres section here on SAU. 2 235/40/18 - Dunlop Sp sport 3000A with 90% tread about 3 months old 2 265/35/18 - Dunlop Sp sport 9000A with 85% tread about 6 months old These sell for about $1500-1600 new and spoke to some places to get and idea of pricing so I am after about $800 cheers

I know the guys at the workshop that do all the work on the car well so I can hang around with them and watch if i want. I sat in the car with him when he was tuning the power fc the whole time and he didnt mind explaining what he was doing either but then again I know them well.

yeh i didnt think it was. i got the paint shop to have a look for me so was a bit doubtful. will try and find out and let you know. cheers for the help

haha puts me in a bit of trouble. i thought it was 2" and 2"? anyone know for sure? i have been pulled over and cops said to me that I got pretty wide tyres on there but did not say about them being illegal.

Drive mine as a daily as well and no problems at all...until i started modding it haha. won't have any problems with one if as dan said you don't buy a lemon and get a good one that has been inspected properly.

i had to go out and got back and had a good look at the car and managed to sort out the problem...one of the wires for the plug into the gauge cluster has split. when i was driving the indicators didnt work so i assumed that it was to do with the cluster but now with the cluster sorted the indicators still don't work. i can turn lights on and off and high and low beam but the indicator itself doesn't work which is weird as the lights are on the same stalk. anyone have ideas on how to sort this problem out? haha
