I only just saw this on tv news and has come as a great shock to me and has really has hit close to home. I met Gerard and Tom on several occasions. And they were some of the nicest people on the motoring scene. I'm sure they will be missed by all. RIP.

  10. Bump. Anybody out there In the market for a nice genuine KM Skyline?
  11. HAhahaha. True, But TATA are so big they bought Jaguar and Land Rover off Ford. They dont interfere with what the factories do, and fund them as required.
  12. what time do we need to be there to start up, what time does it offically start and finish?
  13. Payment Sent i'll fax the form in on monday, I've sent only $45 my membership lapsed ages ago but i'll renew my membership on the day.
  14. Problem with the Allroad is that being an audi parts and repairs a VERY expensive (think pads and rotors every say 30k at a cost of around $2000 an end, timing belts are due every 3years or 60k (whichever comes first) around $1800 for the full service. They are a nice car and absolutely fly (my old service manager had one and i used to run around town in it) but Euros dont age well in Australia especially once they get to 100k they start falling apart. also as they get older electrical gremlins rear their ugly heads and thats when it gets real exxy. A cheaper (Japanese) option to the allroad would probably be Subaru Outback H6, wagon, raised ride height like the allroad, Leather and all the luxuries, 6 cyl so u have decent power, reliability (look on carsales theres plenty with 200-300k on the clock) good resale as well. From $13k-20k for a 3rd gen shape and 20k-30k for a 4th gen My recommendation would have to be the Toyota Aurion. ok it drives the wrong wheels, the park brake is in the wrong spot, but Value for money, reliability, space, economy is hard to beat. That will be my next move for a car in general.
  15. I've printed and filled out the form. Sent my payment. I'll fax the form over on monday when im at work
  16. Here are some pics. Now has an R34 GT-T interior
  17. Hey all, Ive come to the realisation that I dont have the time to drive and appreciate this car as much as i should and its taking up space collecting dust in my garage. Heres a quick run down 1995 R33 GTST Coupe White 5 Speed manual Factory Sunroof 112000kms R34 Side Mount intercooler HKS Boost controller (electronic 2 stage) Tien Superstreet Coilovers Clutch is only 8 months old (done at approx 8000kms ago) Brand new RDA slotted rotors with brand new EBC Redstuff pads front and rear serviced every 6 months with timing belt done at 82000kms JJR Coilpacks and brand new Iridium Spark plugs done 5000kms ago 18"X8" ROH Adrenalin Shadow Chrome wheels with Federal 595RS tyres Pioneer CD Player The bad points, The Front bar is badly chipped and scratched from when i bought it due to the car being so low when i got it. Paint chips on drivers side front guard and drivers side c - pillar Driver's seat ouside bolster cushion has collapsed Sunroof blind was causing mechanism to jam to i removed the blind altogether. Everything on the car works fine and its an absolute pleasure to drive, have done a few long distance runs and will do 9L/100kms on the highway. The vehicle has had 1 visit to wakefield park where it performed flawlessly and was absolute fun to drive. This is a great step for someone stepping into their first skyline or first turbo vehicle. Not in a rush to sell, If it doesnt sell ill just finish what i had planned for it. Looking for $11000 ono, will swap for a 600cc motorcycle such as CBR or GSXR or even VFR800 I can be contacted via PM or email sam_mitchell14(at)hotmail.com or mobile 0413 728 316 I'll update this page with pics tomorrow night
