Alrighty people this is coming up very quickly and we still have some spots left. Oh yeah happy birthday MAV

Mav we are pissed the organiser and sponsors are looking into legal action as chadstone is private property, the tmu said that because there were cars driving around the area that it is classified as a highway. However the display sections where secured off from the public and hense still private property. It was just a slap in the face to have a very senior police member tell you to your face that the event is good to go, they were also invited to have a display and then for this to happen. The night was going extremely well until i found out tmu were looking over a car near country road section and once they defected the 1st car we called all the drivers/owners in and we decided to cancel the whole thing as chadstone centre management ran the other way. in total 3 club cars got defected ( we are fixing these up thanks to the sponsors) and even 2 actual promo / demo cars got defected (pioneer ute and orion car) This was nothing but an act of the police trying to flex their muscle and now lets hope that they have good lawyers as the sponsers of the event have more than enough money to take this all the way!!!!

Its going to be MASSIVE i offered SAU a free club spot but yeah. Look forward to seeing you there matt at the Mild2wild display See you all there Sab

UPDATE: The Big Boys Toys Night will be supported by the 2007 Formula 1 ING Australian Grand Prix and will feature inside the shopping centre: Formula 1 Show cars and BMW Celebrity Challenge Vehicle Grand Prix Free motion simulator Slot Car Circuit Grid Girls + Wait for it COMPLIMENTARY BEER & SPORTS DRINKS on arrival. And that’s just what’s happening inside  DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE  Also just a reminder to those that are entering club displays please get your rego forms in ASAP as spaces are limited.

It will be similar to Auto Salon in set up fully sections off area, with security more like a car show really. I think Chadstone has been having Big Boys Toys Night for 2 or 3 years now but like i said it was mainly focused on gadgets (mobiles, ipods, computer etc) in the past but this year will have the MASSIVE car focus.

Will have to double check, previous years have been inside out the front of Myer. But this years will have the entire car park from post office entrance to match box entrance sectioned off. If you have ever been to Chadstone thats a MASSIVE car park, its going to be BIG. Its a night for manufactures to bring out all there new toys etc, but Chadston are having a major focus on cars this year. With intentions to keep the focus on cars in years to follow. I have sent info to Bec already so just awaiting final confirmations from Chadstone which will be on Wednesday. Cheers Sab

For those that have been to Chadstone for this know what a great night it is. This year the Big Boys Toys night will be on the 15th of Feb and we are extending an open invitation to all clubs to set up club displays at no charge. This is a great opportunity to have your club recognised in the public arena. There will be LOADS of giveaways, LOADS of HOT promo cars and even some sweet rides from the pimp my ride crew as well. More info will be posted shortly. So if you are interested in participating as a club please PM me for more info.
