S15/rb25 Injectors
Draconis replied to Draconis's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Price is negotiable. -
I have a set of 6 S15 stock injectors. These are 444cc injectors. They are side feed and high impedance if I remember correctly. They are directly swappable into an RB25DET engine without any modification. Great for a quick and much cheaper upgrade on injectors. Looking for $300.

Modified Rb20det Forward Facing Plenum
Draconis replied to NW007's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I'm not here to say anything ill of the item since I've seen it a couple times before. But I know with the stock form of where the intake is in the middle of that manifold when it comes in sideways in as stock, cylinders 5 and 6 are naturally lean. Now, moving this to the front, which I can tell is a well done job from the welds and such, will the intake be as lean or more lean than stock in cylinders 5 and 6 since the air is directly into the first several cylinders. -

Pwr Performance Barrel Intercooler
Draconis replied to Draconis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Well, even tho I am seeking only 300 now, I want to get some stuff setup for future use. Reason being is that the car wont stay at 300. I just need to get it running and out of storage for the time being to save some money. I'm thinking in the next couple of years working at the motor and get it running a bit more but if I'm in there doing the swap, might as well do some of the bolt on stuff/easy stuff to get it out of the way. -
Pwr Performance Barrel Intercooler
Draconis replied to Draconis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It's gonna be used for street purposes. At the moment 300rwhp is all I'm thinking of so I guess my air/air FMIC will be fine and maybe get a mister kit for it from what I'm reading since I'm not really gonna be demanding much of the motor as of yet. -
Pwr Performance Barrel Intercooler
Draconis replied to Draconis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thank you rumbles. It's not that I was in a sense indecisive, I just hadnt had any personal experience with them. I can seem to find solid information about their strengths and/or weaknesses. A lot of people still debating them. Looking at their price, I needed more of solid information for me to ditch my current FMIC setup in favor of this. Cheers. -
Pwr Performance Barrel Intercooler

So, would you suggest it by chance? -
Hey mates, I know we are all used to the FMIC setup with air to air intercooler setup. But what about this liquid to air cooler setup where the air is forced through a barrel and cooled off by the liquid. This setup has it's own mini rad and stuff. Wondering if you knew much about this company and the products. I would like to see some actual hard numbers or some more information on how it works and its efficiency. Cheers. http://www.pwr.com.au/#view=products&s=is

I know it's been quite a while since this thread was active. I did a search under drivetrain for anything RB26 related to find out what is out there for the sump issue when making it into a RWD setup. So far this is the closest thread. I've seen some pictures of a modified 26 sump that was made in Aus. for a RWD application. I was wondering if there were any dimensions or specifics that could be passed on. Or someone or a company out there that makes them. I really dont want to do a RB25 sump and modify that one personally. Thanks in advance.

Okay, I've been on this site for several years now. Reading a shit load. Asking for clarification when needed, advice or stuff when I feel that I need the people who know their shit to teach me a thing or two. So I want to give a big thanks to you guys here on this forum. I've used you as much as any of the other S12/Gazelle forums. If you feel like it, pain in the ass, you can read both scans of my mag. articles and this new website article. But either way, all three of them I made sure to tell the editor to mention something about the Australians and to give them props. Thanks to DerMetzger or in life Adam (member on CS12), he found this site and spoke to the lead editor or whomever runs the site. After getting in touch with me, this is the result. Now I know you all might go, why would we want to check this out... Because it gives you Aussie's credit! That's why. I want to say thanks to all you guys here! http://www.engineswapdepot.com - Front page Topical Section for the S12 http://www.engineswapdepot.com/?cat=70 April 07 May 07

The injectors still available? -
Well, here's the issue. I put them in and shortly after I heard 'lifter' noise. My oil pump is fine. I didnt know if it had to deal with shims. I know they are hydraulic, but the FSM states that there are shims in there. Makes no sense to me. I put the Poncams in and yes, they are bolt in. It would happen every so often then disappeared altogether. About a month later it happened about every day. Along with the 'lifter' noise, there was a loss of power. It would be a constant clicking noise but when I revved up the engine, the clicking noise would increase in speed also. I opened up the engine. The cams look good. No lifters are cracked. There is oil everywhere. LOL So it is apparent that oil is getting to where it needs to go. And I dont have a magnet so there is no way I can take the lifters off due to the vacuum created by the oil.

Top RB20 Club... do you have over 260rwkw?
Draconis replied to RBsileighty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
wow... sorry Roy about the rwkph. I was trying to say miles per hour and translated that to kilometers per hour in some other computation and somehow got it mixed up with my horsepower computations and such. Been trying to figure out several things here, but you answered my question entirely. Shit, I dont know how many times you have helped me in both answering my questions and with the many posts you have done in the past. I will be posting my power here hopefully in the next month or two. Finally I'll be about satisfied with it. -
No. I do have the stock hydraulics. But what confused me is that the FSM shows shims... I thought hydraulics were to get rid of the issue with the shims. I dont know. I just saw this and was wondering if anyone else came across this issue.

Draconis replied to RBsileighty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What is the most anyone has gotten out of stock cams with adjustable cam gears? I'm looking for about 300rwhp or about 482rwkph. I have lots of other mods, so I do know they will effect my capability, but they will allow for that power range. Right now, the cams are the only thing holding me back for being able to breathe. Thanks mate.
