  2. 6870 on 3L is your best option it's like a 6466 on a 2.6, you'll make the power of those smaller turbos and won't be working the turbo as hard (safer too) it's 3L spool and torque is on your side BTW i have a brand new 6870G2 if u like
  3. nothing wrong with twins. save your money, keep the standard manifolds-piping ets gtx2860/63 will be fun and make the power you want if your after 800+ then go single. i went single and there is some work involved not to mention your dump needs to be fabed with twins you have shelf items ready to go
  4. forever get the gasket, the coil can over heat so without the rubber you'll be helping the heat escape only dis advantage would is when washing keep the hose away from it that's how i run it
  5. by the way my mate just bought a stroker sr20 crank from china and after picking it up from being tuned the bottom end shit itself, after the inspection the crank was to blame
  6. you need to know your eventual goal first, if you want to be a competitive drag racer one day, then build 26/30-34, if you want to stay street the revier 2.8 is the way to go obviously can't beat the jap quality if you have the coin, otherwise the nitto/brian crower quality is also good
  7. good stuff man, that's exactly what I wanted

  16. i have a 6870 going on my 26, (2.8) but not sure if i should change the rear housing, it's 1.0AR ATM has anyone here played with the rear housing on their 6870? how much extra lag are we talking? i think the 1.0AR will be ok up to 30-35psi, but i want to run 40-45, is the largest available rear housing a must for this sort of boost? also anyone have a large rear housing for 6870?
  17. not sure mate i think it's a sandwich plate that gives you the option to fit an oil cooler
  18. 32-33 coils, box never opened $450 sump $100 gaskets $100 throttle coat 90% full -$40 grex plate $30 oil filter $30 sydney
  19. i had the mega n1 i loved it i think the reg has a (proper) muffler in the middle where the n1 has a hot dog it wasn't to loud for me but it was pretty loud for the neighbours they didn't like it when i rocked up at 2 am i think choose the one that more suits the engine if it's got descent power go for mega, if your close to standard go with the quieter system personally loud and fast is ok, but loud and not much go is a bit wrong
  20. i can see in that far (yet) i'll have to get the torch in better that's why i'm asking
  21. looking from under the car I can see the whole but I can't see any thread, maybe I need to look closer (possible?) can i screw an oil pressure sensor straight into their? does the N1 block normally come without a plug for that whole? the new block is black in colour, and that hole is silver. a thread should be there correct?
