  17. you can do it with a stick welder but as said above its a flamin mongrel of a job and most times you will burn holes. When it comes to welding the pipe onto the flange just make sure that most of the heat is on the flange as its thicker and want burn holes. I just used the stick the other day to fix 3 holes and a seam of a muffler on a bogan vn wagon. I found it easier to turn the heat up a bit and just move my stick a bit faster. If you do burn holes its not much of a prob as they can be filled in pretty easy just let it cool down a bit each time you fill apart of a hole and dont attempt to fix it in one go or it will just get bigger and bigger and bigger. If you keep blowing holes in the pipe just walk away and have a beer break
  18. Has anyone bought items of a store on ebay called Lewis engines performance engines1? they have RB 20/ 25 ARP head stud kits for $265 + $15 postage. 20. I just went and hade a look at this fairlane zj that i won on ebay the add said it was in perfect con,one owner,on gas a small amount of surface rust on the inside of the bottom of the doors(common in the Zj to Zl fairlanes) and runs like a dream. The doors didnt have surface rust they were rusted out and in every door the motor was running crap a million leaks and sounded like it was running on 5 cylinders the gas tank was out of date by 1 year and the guy hadent even change the car in to his name from first owner. He made me wast my time by driving 40mins with a shitload of crap add so i wasted his time by saying il be back in 20mins with the money lol

I hade a 250 x-flow cortina back in the day stock as a rock but could still put on more of a show then the v8 boys I dont think cops pick on imports at all, iv got a lot of mates with holdens and fords who get defected a fair bit not because of the driving but the mods they have. If you mod your car then you pay the price
