Im looking at getting a datsun 240k coupe rolling shell of a mate for free, full of rust but iv got the tools to cut and shut myself. Iv done a bit of research on the 240's but i'm confused with my search result. Im searching 240k coupe and it keeps comming up with nissan skyline c110. I dont have pics of the coupe but its got round rear lights if that helps. I would also like to know what are my easy motor options as its a rolling shell. Cheers Dave

Very nice Im running the redtop eccs motor in my oz spec r31 with a r33 sr1 turbo but looking at going hks 25/30 very soon. If your looking at getting your butterflys removed boostworxs will remove them for around $60 if you take the plate in. Id put a set of redtop rocker covers back on

How strong was the paint when using acrylic clear? We did a car in acrylic then a month or so later we hit it with 2pac clear and has been strong for 3 years also know of a show valiant done this way and has won a few trophies at local shows. .

Im after a product to keep my boot down on my track spec r31 as iv removed all the boot latch,lock and cable . I was thinking of using bonnet pins but might look out of place, do they make some type of boot pins or a exterior latch i can use. cheers Dave

sounds like the paint didnt adhere, best bet is to sand it down repaint it in acrylic let it sit for a few weeks then give it a coat in 2pac clear
