  1. SOLD!!!!! Sad to part with my GTR.
  2. Not quite, the photos in HPI mag are copyrighted to HPI publication company. I don't own them. The photos here are private, therefore removed. Try not to have a go at me for removing them.... I am sure the new owner will fill the forum with more updated pics. Cheers Matt
  3. Deposit taken for ownership transfer. Good luck to the pending new owner! I am confident that he will look after her as much as I have. I have certainly taken a 'big' financial loss, but I still look at this entire build experience as being a gain and absolutely 'priceless', especially the friendships built over the years with fellow forum enthusiasts. I guess the finale was the feature in HPI. A sincere thank you for all who have taken interest in this car. (Apologies for all photos will be deleted to respect privacy of new owner) Cheers Matt
  4. It seems like the cat has been let out of the bag! But its not quite a done deal yet....
  5. Thnaks mate. I thought you were selling your Nur? Cheers Matt
  6. Thanks Bobby. The Power FC works well and car drives smoothly even with v Cam inetgrated with it. The idling is stable on Cold start. All other systems work well - air con; etc. I am sure looking forward to a prominent magazine feature of your R34 build. cheers Matt
  7. Thanks guys. I have bought multiple copies to keep as momento. I am absolutely thrilled. Cheers Matt
  8. One set Variety A sold - only 3 sets left I am about to adore my car with some classy HKS decals!
  9. Silly me! How does one expect to buy decals without any idea on dimensions..... Please refer to scaled images: Cheers Matt
  10. Good point, I forgot to mention sizes of decals. The clear backing for each decal set is 27cm X 6cm. Therefore if the decal runs almost the entire length of the clear backing, then its about 25cm long (the big logo ones - HKS Power; Tuned by HKS etc) The variety set A, each decal is about 6 to 4 cm in length and 4 to 1 cm in width, therefore quite small.
  11. Free bump. Absolutely awesome! Rarely seen.

  13. Hey Ash, Love the footage, very professional. Thanks for the insight into your car. Its old school with a modern spin, absolutely love it! I might head off to Micolour to get some minor refinishing done to my car. Matt
  14. Yep, just took bulb out from dash. All other systems unaffected. Handles much more stable.
  15. Hi Jason The car that will be on the centerfold of performance import 134 is my R34 GTR Racepace HKS RB28 VCam Street car you see at Racepace all the time. Yes, it will a great issue for all GTR enthusiasts.
  16. Hi Jun, Your talent and professionalism is outstanding. The composition and lighting of the photos are amazing, especially the 'in motion' shots. The technique to take those 'in motion' photos was fascinating. I enjoyed the entire photo shoot experience. Thanks Jun! Cheers Matt
  17. Sorry to digress from the details of the engine build itself. But I must say the interior retrim is already another highlight of this build. The leather and alcantara combo and stitching details look classy. But may I ask who did the interior re-trim for you? Judging from the photos posted on the JEM website, the quality looks outstanding, matching, if not surpassing the Robson Japan's standards. The leather looks perfectly smooth and moulded to the front seat base contours and side bolsters. This is said to be almost impossible to achieve by a few (well known) automotive trimmers in Melbourne. Do you know the process involved? Did the trimmer have to peel the original OEM fabric off the seats or was the leather simply glued on top? Cheers Matt
  18. Thanks Bob. I am soooooo jealous of your Z Tune ownership. You sure love your BNR34s.
  19. This build is going to be epic! Certainly you have compiled a list of top class and unique components, I am looking forward to seeing it all come together. Any consideration for V Cam? Speaking from my experience, it is extremely helpful in helping you to achieve the objective of response, low end torque and early turbo spool up. Is the build more street or track orientated? Cheers Matt
  20. Sorry to keep on posting this morning. I have nothing to do until the Grand Prix starts! Talk about buying miscellaneous useless JDM bits and pieces. I just picked this up from yahoo Japan through once again Import Monster. Badge of honour - Just like what's on boot of the HKS driving performer: BTW, I friggin' love that car. Photos courtesy of Speedhunters - (friggin' love that website too!) Also, friggin' love this photo (courtesy Jun Sawa): Boy, there's alot of friggin' love this morning.
  21. Hey Ian, I have become a bit of a dealer now in R34 GTR parts. I am usually forced to sell parts accumulated when they start to spill from the garage into the lounge room! Most parts have been sold here on this forum to other enthusiasts. I am just obsessed with all this JDM stuff. Sometimes I buy stuff that I don't even get to fit on the car. I get enough satisfaction just owning, looking, touching, admiring them (design, workmanship etc). (I know I am weird that way!) As mentioned, all cars posted with that particular background are for sale from Global auto. Check out their website. I frequently drool over the cars that are in stock. http://www.global-auto.ne.jp/stock/public_model_home.php?model=BNR34 Take a look at the full Mines Spec car that has been sold... Super jealous Thanks guys for taking time to read the entire thread. Its great to share the experience. Can't wait to see your work. It'll be awesome. PS: Finally learnt how to use 'multiquote' function. Geez, I am an idiot!
