so in what way are s14/r33 different...more anti squat or less anti squat. Im asking as some ppl on here are saying that s14 gains traction because it has more antisquat. Im confused. It actually opposite? Simon u say u get more traction therefore i assume s14 has less anti squat design in the frame than s13/r32. But if u think about it by raising the frame right up in the nose ur increasing antisquat = less traction. Cancelling out what the frame has built into it. If u do this to a s13/r32 that means even more anti-squat = even less traction. But then again, it is correcting roll centre which is the main aim I suppose. I wasn't sure when i did this to my 33 frame so i kept the front of the frame in the original position and only raised the rear. to gain more squat for traction. havent tested it at the track yet. Has anyone tried different angles of the subframe for traction gain? is it worth worrying about.? Thats why some solid bushes come with slip in spacers as subframe raisers create more antisquat. for eg http://www.splparts.com/SPL_SSB_S13C.html

any luck???, how did the spark look on the other plugs, orange aswell. seems you have covered everything i would have done..very interesting problem. stumped lol long shot but are the cam lobes opening at the right time on cylinder 3, i know how that sounds lol but it just seems you have covered everything simple and i have heard cams being ground incorrectly before on a factory car haha ford transit!

also rb20 and gtr are identical, rb25 can be used but you will have to rearrange the pins, which is quite easy too, the plugs are all the same.

easy to test, get a LED test light, first check if you get 12volt input on each channel from the ECU, it will flash as you crank it, and to check the ignitor output connect ur test light to battery positive instead of ground and check if the ignitor grounds (will flash green) when cranking, at least that way u can see if the ecu is sending the signal to the ignitor. Thats pretty much all you can do, there are resistance tests also, i think the specs are in the workshop manual. hope that helps.

its been in my r33 rb25 gtst.. had no issues at all, im not sure what point ur trying to make. it will fit any rb if its push type.
