im not sure if it would fix it but it might have the powerfc boost control option on, that would cause the engine light on and may run rough but then again u said u tried the standard ecu and it didnt fix it, true??

Apparently I Have A Gtr Turbo On My Gts T?
drf76 replied to blackprincegts's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
lol so true no one smart would fit one of those its definetly a downgrade, i think a single gtr turbo is rated only at 150rwkw, which it probably would boost earlier as its smaller -
hey there is one going on ebay australia for around $270, hope it helps http://cgi.ebay.com.au/R34-GT-T-NEO-Turbo-...1QQcmdZViewItem

to work out new fuel flow rate of a injector, take ur new fuel presure then divide it by your standard fuel pressure your injector was rated at, then find the sqaure root of that and then multiply your old injector fuel rating by the answer you got previously hope that makes sense sorry didnt realise this is an old post my bad

haha ford, i work for them but anyway yer could be injectors but when you said your spark plugs are pretty bad you tend to think its spark related, but you gotta somewhere, hope you find out what it is soon with out too much hassle

yes you can use rb26 injectors they fit straight in with a rb26 fuel rail on a greddy plennum, you can use any injectors for a rb26 but u will have to use a resistor pack unless you find some high impedance injectors such a denso 550cc injectors from a rx7, u might just have to get orings to fit the rail and plennum, btw with 550cc you can get a fair bit of power, just depends how serious your engine will be.

check your crank angle sensor plug might be coming loose or not plugged in properly or there is a short in the wiring, i had similar problem on my old mans 32 gtr where plug seemed to be plugged in but wasnt fully clipped in, it caused rough running and a really bad miss. I checked the plug and clipped it in properly and problem was solved. Also check if you have a good connection at the battery/ground to ecu is very important. And yes it could also could be a coil starting to break down especially if you are using a ford one

yeh i was pretty happy with that time, i only got one more run but that was a 13.2 They ended up cancelling before i got a 3rd go haha

i got a jim berry clutch in my skyline and ill will always go back to him, he is the authority in cluctches but in sayin that hes not cheap, my 5 puck button clutch cost me close to a grand but havent had one problem with it since i put in in about 7 months ago, not even a hint of slip and i clutch it heaps. And surpisingly its not that heavy on the foot considering its got a 3600pound pressure plate. I love it. But if price is ur main concern ive heard the exedy clutches go well aswell and like u said u can find them cheap everywhere. hope this helps, lucas

Wrecking 1997 R33 Gts-t Manual Turbo
drf76 replied to R34 GT's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
do u want to sell the aircon compressor and braket with idler pulley also is the fan for the condensor damaged, if not how much -
yer i got one of ebay, the casting isnt of that high quality, it did have a few little holes in the cast but ive filled these with with a tig and sanded them away, its pretty good now especially for the price i got for, if you dont mind a bit of work then get one. Mine didnt arrive in such bad condion as Al showed in the pics above so maybe i was just lucky.

but remember that increasing fuel pressure is not only to get more out of your injectors, important fact to mention that it does increase fuel atomisation which causes a more uniform burn which inturn produces better torque. also increasing fuel pressure will reduce injector duty cycle, its not recommended running ur injectors over 80% (although many do) ive seen melted wiring and failed injector drivers in heavy competition. At 80% 550cc injectors will be good for around 420hp at a pressure of 43.5psi which is what most injectors are calculated at.

yeah so u from ages ago with that "scc06" sticker right from rode rd to queens roundabout, tried to catch up but was caught in traffic until around arana hills where u when straight. nah dont work at the airport must be someone else unless my car drives itself and no i dont rent my baby shes all mine haha

you would run the vg30 airflow meter if u have a z32 afm. Just like what paulr33 said, i reckon you a got faulty afm or wiring to it. My 33 hunts and stalls if i leave the afm disconnected or even check your intercooler piping, that would cause it to run like crap for sure, as the engine isnt getting enough air the afm is actually reading

take a look on the driver side firewall at the top or near there should be a map sensor which has a boost/vac line going to the intake manifold, normally the hose gets brittle a breaks off common as. also check if the map sesor is connected.

sorry to use ur thread dangerman4 but dont want to double up, i just got my power fc last night and the rev limit was set a 6900rpm, im assuming thats too low reading all the posts, i just didnt want to raise it as its just stock internals atm. So if i raise to 7800rpm should be good??

id be definitely getting a oil cooler, piece of mind protecting ur engine components, ive heard that if oil hits above 140 deg the oil looses some of its lubricating properties and you should be changing the oil straight away if that sought of temp is reached.

Injector Sizing And Idling Issues
drf76 replied to CameronBNR32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
600cc injectors should do more than 479hp, ur running to little fuel pressure, and yes running such large injectors as 1000cc will cause idling issues as the fuel wont be injected in as much atomised form as you would with 600cc with higher fuel pressure, many people make the mistake of running larger injectors than needed for their power needs , especially for a road car if idling is a concern. get a rising rate fuel reg such as a malpassi etc, trust me youll get way more out of your 600cc injectors -
rb30 blocks have known to break under the stress the front diff acting on it, the 26 block has extra webbing to support the torque of the front diff but then again there are gtrs out there with the rb30 block that go well with around 100hp more at the same boost than the rb26, ur defintely not wrong about loving the way the 26 revs, many people do lol

Wat Do The Stock Injectors Max Out At
drf76 replied to cuong nguyen's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
if you dont have the cash for bigger injectors and your after some decent power using ur standard injectors all you have to get urself is a rising rate fuel reg there are different ratio rates available, so say u have std rb25 injectors (think they are around 380cc) and you plan on keeping them u use a rising rate 1:1.7 fuel reg so for every 1 psi boost you get 1.7 psi of fuel pressure, so if you run 17psi of boost thats 28.9 psi of fuel pressure on top of your base fuel pressure which is probably around 30 psi which gives you a total of 58.9 fuel pressure which is quite high but this will make your injectors flow a fair bit more, since your pressure is now higher make sure all your fuel lines are in good condition or upgrade to higher quality hose also make sure ur car is retuned after this, hope this answers ur question cuong nguyen
