  1. i have connected my rpm signal to the ecu output which does lead to the back of the cluster, but i dont know if anyone has had the same problem where the tacho doesnt read right as the output from the ecu is a 5v square wave and the autometer tacho needs 12v square wave. is there a way to fix this without buying extra modules to convert the signals.
  2. yeah thats pretty much the only one, not sure from memory if theres one at the down pipe from the back of the turbo just double check and theres one metal gasket on the outlet of the turbo(compressor side) but you can reuse that one for sure as i have many times
  3. definitely what he said, mine whistles (sounds more like a loud screech) onto sudden full boost like when your clutching it to take of hard, its the gasket that mounts the turbo onto the exhaust manifold, gas is trying to escape through a tiny passage somewhere in the gasket.
  4. does the car run above idle when u hold it constantly at say 3000rpm or does it just act the same as on idle and stalls and when it stalls is just a straight cut or does it stumble or starve like its not getting fuel. Could be fuel pump if it starves but if it just stalls it most likely a sensor, have you checked the crank angle sensor at all, wiring/plug etc, if thats not right there's no fuel or spark and instant stall.
  5. just took a closer look at the diagram from whiteline, i didnt notice the there are small rings and small cut rings, so yes i need to 2 large and 2 small cut for a drift setup. thanks for the info
  6. Lazy-Bastard you were saying that you need 4 small pineapples for a drift/drag setup, where exactly do the two extra small ones go as i cant see them on the whiteline instructions page
  7. What i do is just remember the number 1.34 as, 1 hp = 1.34kw. or close to. So to get from hp to kw you just do hp/1.34 or to get from kw to hp you do the opposite kw X 1.34 just remember one way like hp to kw then just do the opposite for the other way round, hope this helps ya Italiazr1
  8. Does any one know if the ecu wiring plugs for a N/A skyline and a turbo skyline are the same, im just helping out a mate with a N/a skyline with all standard turbo bits (fuel pump, injectors etc) as i have a standard ecu for a r33 gtst s1. lucas
