2X Mines Air Flow Meters for sale... Upgraded to a Power FC computer and went to a pair of Z32 AFM at the same time. The MINES AFM are just sitting around so i would like to sell them! I have been told the Mines AFM have similar resolution to the Z32 AFM while still adapting to the standard air box or aftermarket 65mm inlet/filter pipes. EPROM or re-tune of computer will be needed in conjunction with these as they are not the same as standard. AFM: $400 for the pair, will not seperate. I can also sell the BNR32 GTR ECU that was tuned to run the following: -Mines AFM -HKS 600cc Inj -Trust 264 9.1mm Camshaft -Tomei adjustable cam wheels -HKS CDI ignition ECU: $300 (reduced), will seperate from MINES AFM TG

engine is not stock and from what you have stated, obviously my car is not running the standard fuel pump in it. My car is making over 420 rwhp which is about 550hp at the engine. Perhaps an 044 would be a step backwards, but i doubt it! I have seen a car make over the 550 rwhp figure claiming a single bosch 044 fuel pump feeding the rail. TG -

yep, saw yours too, nicely done. Wheels look alot wider than mine. Will have to catch up some time, my car is going to SAS for two weeks for Z32 80mm AFM's a bigger fuel pump and power Fc as the midori ecu just isnt cutting the mustard. So it will have to be after then. I assume you are from Syd and come up now and again? I have decided not to sell now and am going to modify a bit more. The car was having cold start problems (i suspect mines air flow meters) so i am going to tinker some more until i want to sell again (prob around december). Prices of 89 gtr's are killing my price, so i will just have to wait for a buyer intersted in buying one 'done the right way'. Regards, TG

thanks for the info.... I dont all that much about pumps except that alot of people swear by the 044. I am looking at upgrading to an intank pump before the end of next week. I only have the standard pump and i have been told i need atleast 300-320 L/H to keep up with my injector and air flow rates. Thanks TG -

how about some figures on the pump..... in tank bosch 044 pumps are cheaper installed and we all know what they can flow...SHEDLOADS. what kind of performer is the HKS pump? -

Alignment will tell if something is out... Its definitely worth it. Another good idea is to put the car up on a hoist and actually measure distance between suspension components. That way you can tell if you car has bent suspension or even worse bent body components, like chassis rails. I have even heard of the front cradle that holds the engine can sometimes be out if it has not been bolted in correctly. This directly effects the suspension as the castor rods are directly attached to it. Only a few mm of difference can help here. If the engine has been out then this is a possiblity. Its only a five minute job to loosen the cradle nuts and move the cradle with a bar then re-tighten once aligned. -

RE: the orignal thread, has the car been damaged? It is amazing after an accident what will happen to the suspension. Something that looks arrow striaght could be really far out of alignment, even after a small gutter hit. Get the car on a proper laser alignment machine that measures castor, camber & toe and you should be able to work out the problem. From there it is a matter of replacing the damaged component or replacing the component needed to get thte desired result i.e not enough castor on D/S front from gutter hit, either replace the bent castor rod (which looks straight) or buy some adjustables and get them dialed in to suit. A skyline GTR should not tramline heaps if it is setup properly even with 265 tyres all round. TG -
Hi all, have an ARAGOSTA shock modified by MIDORI who tuned my car. The stem which slides into the shock is snapped and i need a good suspension rebuilder to have a look at the strut, preferably in Sydney. If i cant get a new peice machined up and repair the original, i have to pay over $800 for the strut itself not including the spring and extra which i already have. Also, when travelling on the highway, my HICAS light pops on any ideas? I have alot of little problems that i would like to iron out of the car so that it is perfect. thanks for all of the response.... I wish i read this before saturday and i would have taken up the offer, oh wel... The car goes to the mechanic tomorrow and he has a computer that plugs into the ecu and finds faults. The ECU has been modified by modori so it would be very difficult to see what the problem is. Because the car is running mines airflow meters, i think changing to the factory ones would cause even more problems. I think im just going to splurge and get the Z32 AFM and power FC with HC and just do it properly.... Thanks All TG -

Hi, Since my car has been back on the road it has been playing up. I am not quite sure where the TPS sensor should sit as all the other GTR's i have looked at have the sensor in different positions! I have been adjusting it around to see if i can improve drivability and it is too hard to work out. How does the TPS affect the tune of the vehicle? Also, the idle has been mucked around with and i want it back at where it was originally. I know the car always idled around the 1200-1300 mark without any miss, now when the car idles it definitely has a miss. Could the combination of these two things be causing this? Some other symptoms: -Runs really rich -Cold start & the car run like a pig, you basically have to wait until the car gets up to temp so that you can drive it without it hickuping and caryying on -General punch has flattened some what. I did have a problem where the windscreen was out and there was some moisture build up on the ecu, could this be causing all of the problems? Will a new apexi power fc and tune fix this up, or am i just wasting my time and money? Is this a simple fix or an expensive one? I have done all the usuals of timing check, fuel pressure check, compression check. This is some sort of tuning bug so i assume tps setup, idle setup or computer...... Any help? TG

Taking offers on the car, i must sell this vehicle within the next fortnight....... All original offers have been a waste of time, so i am back to square one and have lost over $500 in advertising and 3 months of time. Anything reasonable will be considred above $37,000.... thnaks mate...... Yep, still selling the car, i cannot believe how little interest i have had in the car. I have only had two people look at the car and they were simply tyre kickers, not to mention all the people who have rung and just ****ed me around. A good example could be a prick who lives within an hour of here who didnt even have the manners to ring me and cancel an appointment to look at the car, he decided to sms me instead! Whats this world coming to? Anyway, ive said my bit, i would love to sell the car to you matt as you seem like you deserve it after yours was stolen. Car still for sale, $38,000 Firm. TG

im not having trouble competing with 89 gtr's..... This car was built for the track by a leading japanese tuning company with over $70,000 worth of modifications including $12,000 worth of alcon brakes... I am competing with professionally modified track vehicles from Japan, of which there are only 3 i know of that perouse this forum... If this car was not modified by Midori and did not include the parts then i would sell it at the same price as the 89 model. Beside all that, this is a 94 model with 60,000 Km's. TG
