i got a set of pon tomei cams for a rb25det and i need to know if the inlet cam is the same on pre 97/07 to after 97/07 r the same....... i know the exhaust cam is different due to the driver on the cam angle sensor................ i got the wrong series cams sent and had to send them back but me being stupied only sent the exhaust cam back cause the other cam was already fitted in the motor...... so i need to know if the inlet cam will be right to use........ thanx

i got a set of tomei poncams and for a rb25det, year of make 02/97 series 2, but they they sent me a sent of 09/97 onwards cams and i only relized after i put the inlet cam looked the same, but when i try to put the exhaust cam in the cam angle sensor didnt fit the driver.......................... so wat i want to know do i have to send the inlet cam back or r they the same, dont realy want to take it back out, exhaust cam is ready to send back.......... so inlet the same or not?

all ok now, had to use the solonid like a internal gate should be and hook it to the bottom of gate and just a normal pressure to the top and now works fine. thanx anyways

i'vw got an greddy profect b-spec 2, a gt35/40, with cheap 50mm jjr waste gate that i bought from just jap, and i have tried so many ways to hook the boost control and done the way greddy booklet says boost controller to top of gate and a tee before it to the bottom of the gate. and can only get it to run a psi which the spring in the gate is, tied a couple of other ways and i cen either get to 30+ psi and wont stop or 8 psi nothin in between, im kinda leaning towards the boost conteol not working, i cant realy get any voltage to the solonid with the controller turned on is this right???? it maybe gets .02 of a volt, i've put the solonid to 12 volts and it click ok so thats ok................. doesnt anyone know wats going on is it the cheap gate f**king me around or the boost control....i want about 16psi.............. any test i should do... please HELP i've spent about 4 hours on this thing and dont even talk about the fuel....
