Having owned a 03 996TT for a good part of 3 years and driven it as it was supposed to, its clear why Nissan is making its comparison. Engineering brilliance. The TT is a formidable car, rightly so due to its cost, but it is truly a liveable supercar, that can be driven day in day out, and thrashed at the track on the weekend without being upset. In today's market its all about compromise. The 997 is still awaiting a true DSG gearbox, which is something porsche engineered in the early 70's but its weight has been the biggest issue. I know im patiently waiting for a vspec version to be released....or pick up a second hand 997gt2 in 18months time
The GTR is the new affordable true supercar without doubt.
