Its a race/rally reg vehicle for fabcar (ex autowholesale) for TargaWest etc. More than likely young Mr Jones was peddling as he'll be the pilot of the vehicle come race time.

I've driven an auto TT, its ok but nowhere near dsg fast. Porka's tyres seem to go off hard on the last lap, the beauty of running r-comps oem for the 'R'. Manual TT would've been a better battle but no doubting the performance of the new R.

Is the porka auto????

Can anyone confirm if the brakes that come out on the Base model GTR differ to those on the premium edition? thanks

Just got back from HK last week, spotted a white GTR in a showroom on new years eve. I wouldn't judge till you see one in the flesh, everything gels a helluva lot better then. I was a little unsure, but after laying eyes on it, its all systems go!!!

Having owned a 03 996TT for a good part of 3 years and driven it as it was supposed to, its clear why Nissan is making its comparison. Engineering brilliance. The TT is a formidable car, rightly so due to its cost, but it is truly a liveable supercar, that can be driven day in day out, and thrashed at the track on the weekend without being upset. In today's market its all about compromise. The 997 is still awaiting a true DSG gearbox, which is something porsche engineered in the early 70's but its weight has been the biggest issue. I know im patiently waiting for a vspec version to be released....or pick up a second hand 997gt2 in 18months time The GTR is the new affordable true supercar without doubt. v-spec vs gt2, now THATS a battle worth watching out for!!!!!!
