hey all just got a new set of 17s for my 95 r33 gts25t, just wondering what ppl think about them. http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e354/85_gsr_cordz/r33/ pics are there. wheels are avanti force 17x8 with yokohama s1-z 235/45 tyres all round. anyone know how good these tyres are wet and dry? nad how much ppl paid for these tyres if they have them. grip is so much better than the 225/50 16 nexen n2000 that were on the car before.

hey all i bought my 95 r33 gts25t from a dealer called gold star autos with 108000kms for $13000 had a cpl of tiny problems like about 2 weeks after i picked up the car the speedo started to play up a bit and one of the switches for the headlights stopped working, however was fixed within a cpl of days no problems at all. the car had been in aus for a cpl of weeks and just finished getting complied the day i looked at the car. he would have to have atleast 20-30 skylines in stock at anyone time. his website is http://www.goldstarautos.com.au/ all the contact details are there. also when you go to view a car he will put it up on a hoist for you to have a look underneath it.

damn if i had of seen this earlier i would have been there but started drinkin already lol

they actually all came out with the 4g62 1.8ltr turbo, i have one in pieces in my garage lol, trying to get rid of it.

now i have dropped the pressures to 32psi all round they grip a hell of a lot better and the car feels alot better to drive and they even seem a little quieter, will be interesting to see how the go in the wet. the pressures were diferant in 3 of the 4 tyres when i checked them the other day. i had 35psi on the right, 36psi on the left front and 33psi left rear, i think this had alot to do with the grip issues. my r33 is running pretty much stock 9.5 psi with a turbotech boost controller and has a 3 inch exhaust, so hasnt had much done.

there 225/50 16s how long would they take to wear in? have done about 800kms on them so far.

hey ppl just wondering if anyone here is using nexen n2000 tyres because i have them on mine, were brand new when i bought the car about a mth ago, want to know what ppl think of the grip levels on them as i have found that they dont grip too well especially in the wet. however i have been playing with the pressures and noticed when i got the car they were set at 35-36 psi so i decreased the pressures to 32psi and the car seems to feel much better to drive and seems to grip heaps better. has anyone noticed anything like this?

i just sent nissan a email asking specifically about running the shell 100 octane fuel and running ethanol in a r33 gtst. we will see what they say

yeah probably next job is adjusting my hand brake is coming up 12 clicks which i think is too far. anyone know how to adjust?

is there anyway to test them to see if they are working properly?

where in bris can you buy a oxygen sensor for a 95 r33 gtst and how much are they?? im sitting on 13ltr\100 and car isnt reved past 3500rpm normally, only has 3 inch exhaust and a boost controller set at 9psi, so i thought id replace the oxy sensor as who knows when it was last done as it has only just been imported exc.

does anyone know how to adjust the handbrake on a 95 r33 gtst?? as mine comes up way too far thanks in advance

hey im 21 and just bought a 95 r33 gtst have about 3 yrs driving experiance now though just thought u might like a bit of an idea on insurance, ive never had a fine or anything, no accidents and im paying 1700 a yr on insurance with young and cool. they are a good company by the looks of it and let you pay by the mth however it is a cpl of hundred a yr more. my first car was actually turbo, but was ff, it was a old n12 et turbo pulsar. i paid 13000 for my gtst with 108000kms on the clock, bought it the day it came back from compliance, so you should be able to get a top na r33 for that budget.

where at oxley as i only live 5 min away

found the problem, when the sunrrof is closed fully the back end of the glass is sitting about 5mm below the roof line and letting the water in, if i tilt the sunrrof open slightly it sits fully closed and doesnt leak

sunroof was closed properly, this is the second time ive noticed it now not sure exactly how its getting through, think its the rubber seal around the glass .

hey have a 95 r33 gtst with only a few mods like 3 inch exhaust, turbotech boost controller set at 9psi, and possibly a aftermarket ecu. just bought the car and has new nexen n2000 225/50 16 tyres and i must say they are no good at all. very easy to spin tyres dosent grip around corners and even worse in the wet. want to replace them soon. what would be a decent fairly cheap tyre that would hold better than these and aprrox cost of them.

does anyone know of anywhere in bris i can get my sunrrof resealed on my r33 gtst? i think its leaking. any idea how much? i found some water in the sill where the rails for the sunroof are, when i just got home from drivin in the rain.

damn good crusie, was the first cruise ive been too, looking forward to the next one, i was in the stockish looking white r33 gtst with the stock rims lol
