Had another thought.. would piggy back ECUs like E-Manage http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...154016&st=0 help? is there any benefit for a N/A to have a piggy back ecu or a proper standalone aftermarket ecu? cheers

hey there mate.. i bought mine from japlink motor at haberfield.. great bunch of guys.. only thing they didn't do is that they didn't buy back de rims when they said they would when i bought my car.. other than that.. TOP BLOKES when i had an accident... anthony(top top top bloke) organised me to have my car fixed.. both front at back at de cost of the quote (@ 2 panel beaters) of just de back. my radiator fan broke.. mike de mechanic fixed it for me.. for just 55 bucks.. he's nice too.. sammy de boss is friendly (talk to him about asian chicks =P) okie other thing weird is that after a service with them..a problem i had before, which was fixed by tunehouse , came back..so i'm not terribly sure about the car servicing thing tho.. this is my history with them.. hope u can see that they are a great bunch of guys.. altho u still have to talk price with them, their 3 year warranty is attractive too.. haha sounds like i work for them..but i don't =) happy searching mate!!! edit: to show u how proper they are, when i wanted to service my car, sammy de boss actually ask me whether i'm sure as i'm 1000km early, this is his exact words "are you sure, i don't want you to waste your money' ..other places would take my money n just do de service.. no questions asked.. cheers

haha no wonder all the pictures i've seen like in carbibles when i'm reading up on engines have flywheel with clutch in it =D oh yeah.. i'm actually not talking about launch (ala burnout stuff), but like as the light turns green.. what to mod to make my car accelerate faster.. mostly looking things at the lower end of the scales.. increasing 0-80 time perhaps.. stuff like that.. and i'll read up on whether those converters would be good for me =) cheers

I'll try to glean all the knowledge off here and hopefully realise what can help in my acceleration (whether from start or rolling) please keep discussion and keep suggesting what other stuff we N/A drivers can do to improve acceleration in the low speeds... p/s-would a lighten flywheel help a auto car? Hey there guys.. I just serviced my car and a problem i had before came back after the service. There was once severe misfire when I accelerated and a misfire when I was idling.. I went to tunehouse and they changed the sparks, fixed some other stuff like hoses and gave it a tune and it was running perfect since January 1 (or 2nd). I went to my dealer for some panel work and since I was there I got them to do a service (last monday).. and since then (from the day I picked up my car), there's a misfire when idle (at times).. and from yesterday there was misfiring when I accelerated (happened twice) how much of it would you think is because of the service that i got.. or would it be just my coils giving up.. but it's just the timing of the problem returning that makes me "suspicious". cheers

seriously.. all everyone is saying is that aftermarket ones r bad.. OEM are good.. but no one can point us in a direction if we fail to obtain OEM ones.. =(

bump bump... surely someone would want this set of coilovers.. DAMN if mine was turbo ..it'll be on straight away... if ANYONE can advice me one how to change de rear coilovers from inverted fork to eye.. please msg me.. Fulcrum is asking for 400.. anyone knows a place where they can do it for cheaper? hopefully in sydney.. I really want these in my car. cheers

hmm i've always thought that the higher the torque.. the better the off de line acceleration.. I thought longer stroke are a big no no in engine world?? how much better can off de line acceleration be if the flywheel is changed? cheers

anyone have any suggestions how we N/As can increase torque for off de line useage? cheeeeeeers

hmm how do i get OEM?? I contacted my car dearler.. 1 guy said ok.. and another told me they can't do it (bastard).. it'll cost me 800 bucks and that he'll (the guy who said that it can't be done) ask his 'friend' about it.. is 600 bucks about the price for them to make it OEM R34 xenon headlights for me? heers

hey there buddy.. I was hoping you mention what is a good HID kit (and hopefully mention some brand names) but u didn't.. If I am unable to get the OEM xenons back on.. which route should I take? cheers mate =)

hmm spotted a white R33 GTS-t or GTS (can't tell the difference for R33s) ASD 74W (I think) on the way home.. but had to get home quick so I had to speed of.. would have love to keep driving alongside u... did a mutual wave at the same time.. was pretty fun.. on another note.. spotted a pretty cool looking asian chick driving a black supra SUP 24A yesterday.. was in my little loan mazda 121 car.. so didn't wave.. keep a look out for her.. cute chick...
