Glad to hear that. :-) Evening update: The following people and order are confirmed: - Silver gts-t (Front R32 Gts-t slotted pair 909S) - AWDMAT (Rear R32 Gts-t slotted pair 908S) - woolls (Rear R33 Gts-t slotted pair 908S) - igota33 (Front R33 Gts-t slotted pair 7693S) The following people and order are to waiting on payment clearance: - turbo87 (Front R33 Gts-t slotted pair 7693S) - psshht (Front R33 Gts-t slotted pair 7693S) If any of you feel that you may not be home when courier attempt delivery, please pm me your daytime contact number so they can call you. We had a couple of people from 2nd batch whose rotors get delayed because there was no phone number for the courier to call. Let's make this group buy a lot better this time.

Morning update: The following transfers have been confirmed as of 26/09/2006 08:00am: - Silver gts-t (Front R32 Gts-t slotted pair 909S) - AWDMAT (Rear R32 Gts-t slotted pair 908S) - woolls (Rear R33 Gts-t slotted pair 908S) - igota33 (Front R33 Gts-t slotted pair 7693S)

That is true. If you have an accommodating work place (i.e. no overly stringent boss, or you're the owner or in hi management no one dares to step your toe), then getting it sent to work is easier as courier operates during business hours.
-
That's alright Chris, as I can understand your order was one of the more expensive ones... I'm sure it's just a matter of delivery, as if no one is home and the courier could not deliver it (need to be signed), they will take it back to the depot and reschedule delivery again. That happened when I orderd some blinds/curtains for my new house, I missed the delivery and waited for almost a week before they have another van going to my area. And that was with TNT.
-
Chris, I have emailed Scott tonight. Hang on tight, we'll track this shipment for you. Will let you know as soon as I heard something.

51OWW, calm down. I'm not closing the other thread, it's still open and you can still reply on it. I'm not doing anything dodgy here, as you can see the other people have received theirs. Since you have not received it by today, I will follow up with RDA and see if yours have been delivered or not yet. Maybe the courier tried to deliver but no one was home? I'm sending you a pm to confirm that the address you provided was correct.

Nightcrawler, not my intention to be unfair, but as I wrote in the first post unfortunately RDA do not currently have a part number for R34 GTT.
-
Forgot to mention, when you've done your transfer, please provide me with delivery details. No PO Box addresses though as most road couriers will not do PO Box deliveries. (most rotors are too heavy to be handled by Australia Post). Regarding delivery, generally it's 2-3 business days. So if I submit the order Wednesday morning, they get shipped out Wednesday evening or Thursday depending on stock availability, and they get delivered by Friday. But from the previous 1st & 2nd batches, some of the delivery took 1 business day and sometime only less than that depending your location (rural or metro, etc).

The following people confirmed joining the GB: - silver gts-t - awdmat - pshht - woolls
-
So far within the first couple of hours I've got roughly around 6 people very interested. If 10 people minimum are reached by Monday, I may submit 3rd batch sooner... The rest will be in 4th batch (and so on)
-
The 3rd batch is now open... starting today and ending Friday 29/10/2006. Please find it here: RDA Group Buy 3rd Batch

3RD BATCH SUBMITTED 29/08/2006... 4TH BATCH DONE 10/10/2006 Hi All, Following the success of 1st & 2nd batch of RDA slotted rotors group buy (See previous group buy here: Previous Group Buy), the RDA Group Buy is back by popularity. All rotors are supplied by RDA Australia's head office in Keysborough. Currently there are two types of rotors to choose as below: Standard Slotted Rotors Grooved Dimpled (Dimpled & Slots) - Gold Passivated - more rust resistance More info can be found here: RDA Brakes Products Also, I have attached a zip file of RDA disc rotor part number for Nissan cars (Download and open Zip file, then open the XLS file, and just click read-only at the password prompt). NISSAN___D.zip Important Info For pricing, I will only quote (discounted price per pair incl. GST) strictly via pm, as RDA has requested me not to post the discounted pricing to general public on an open forum as they also have to protect the interests of their authorised dealers and branches. When you receive my quote via pm, it is for your car and for your eyes only, kindly do not post those prices on other forums. The following is what we have for most Nissans (S=Sloted/G=Grooved & Dimpled): 1. R32 GTS-t/Z32 300ZXTT: F=909S/G 280mm, R=908S/G 297mm (Front can be used for S15 Silvias) 2. R32 GTR (early models): F=7926S/G 296mm, R=908S/G 297mm 3. R33 GTS-t: F=7693S/G 296mm, R=908S/G 297mm 4. R32 GTR (late model)/R33 GTR/R34 GTR: F=7701S/G 324mm, R=7702S/G 300mm 5. S15 Silvia: F=909S/G 280mm, R=906S/G At the moment we could not get any 310mm front RDA Slotted rotors for R34 GT-T, so R34 GT-T owners will have to find their rotors from DBA. Once there are more than 10 people I will submit these as 1 batch. Deliveries all around Aust in 2-3 bus days is $25 flat rate per order (up to 3 pairs of rotors in one delivery pack). 3rd batch is now open until Friday 29/09/2006. Pm me for quote and if you're ready to transfer payment, as soon as I have 10 people I start submitting the order to RDA, e.g. Wednesday, then you may get your rotors by Friday, so don't wait till last minute if you need it faster. Regards, Rianto

Hey, RDA told me yours will be delivered to Montrose VIC on Saturday. Not sure if that is shipped out today or arriving today.
-
Glad to see half of 2nd batch has been delivered... So far the ones I haven't heard/confirmed has their rotors delivered are: - Flash89 - 51OWW - Beer Baron But I'm sure yours will be there very soon, maybe even tonight... Due to popular demand, I'll bring up 3rd batch, a few ppl already start pm-ing me about it...
-
Sorry Richard, your rotors have already been shipped before I got the chance to add that "authorised to leave" note. I hope it gets there safely. Anyhow if you're not home they will normally leave you a note or call you and you can then instruct them to leave when no one is home. They left my rear rotors at my front door, just got mine tonight but I havent unwrap them. Thank's for leaving me some good comments, I've left some nice feedbacks. Without enough people to join the group buy, it may not have happenned in the first place.
-
Alright, since there's not much interest after 2 batches of order submitted, I'm gonna close this group buy for now. Once you've received your rotors, please pm me and let me know. And I'll have a look at pads option and see if the savings they can offer is justifiable enough to start a GB on pads. Anyone interested to go for the 3rd batch of RDA group buy (e.g. minimum of 10 people) please pm me and I'll start a new thread. In the mean time I can regain some good night sleeps

EVening Update: Group Buy Batch # 2 has been submitted and RDA will send them all out tomorrow. Expect to receive your rotors by Friday...
-
Yes you can, but you realised by doing that no one can be held responsible if your item gets stolen... so its only safe to do so if your area is considerably safe or where they leave the goods is not easily visible or accessible from people passing by.

Morning Update 19/09/2006: The following transfers has been confirmed & will be put through as order batch 2 today: - lunaticR32 - r33fourdoor - Flash89 - 51OWW - Beer Baron - robbo33 - MintR33 - shozbot - DJRIFT - 180_mph - justin911 Most likely this will come out in the afternoon and your rotors will be delivered by or even before Friday. Cheers, Rianto
-
ha ha, yes well we'll see about the pads... any preferences? EBC, RB74? or something else?
-
Gee, DD You walked all the way carrying 2 rotors? I almost killed my arms when I carried my pair of fronts from office to car park which is only a 5 min walk. And some people gave me weird looks even though it's in a box, looks like I'm carrying a pair of land mines or something. heslo's full set would even be heavier I suppose... but glad to hear they're all there safely.
-
Evening update: I've decided to submit the 2nd batch of group buy tomorrow as there's another 3 transfer coming through today and perhaps 1 more tomorrow. So there will be 10 people in the 2nd batch. Looking at how fast some of you who were in the 1st batch, I'm sure that the 2nd batch will be delivered before Friday... All 15 people from the 1st batch have received their rotors...
-
I was told by my mechanic that the general rule is you should always replace pad when you replaced the rotors, rotors are too expensive to get scored by old pads that has poor surface, I didn't replaced mine but at that time of replacement on the front, the front pads were less than a few thousands km and there's hardly any grooves on the old rotors, so the pads were ok. I'm not sure if sanding or machining your old pad to obtain a flat surface will work just as good as new pad or not...
-
MintR33, yes i"ve got ur pm. SiksII, phone not required but it will help if you're not home and the courier trying to deliver it.
-
Glad to hear you just receive it. For those in first batch who haven't received it, please allow till Wednesday. Contact me if not yet receive by then and I'll follow up with Scott at the head office here in Keysborough. The rotors (as well as most new automotive parts) are always covered in a coat of oil, the reason to this is to prevent rust over long period of storage or exposure to moisture during transport. You don't need to get it oil free before installation, but give it a good wipe around the rotors with a piece or rag clothing. If you asking a mech to do it, they'll know what to do. If you're not gonna install it soon, just leave that coat of oil on your rotors until you're ready to install it.
