i'll ask them a rough estimate of delivery costs...

frankxinyu, I'll put your name in the list. basically the dimples one are almost like cross drilled. but unlike cross drilled where the strength and integrity of the disc could be compromised by removing the material from the drilling process, in dimpled that effect is not as bad. you've still got the slot to disperse the build ups between pads and rotor surface, plus the dimples also helps it even more, and cosmetically it will look as if a cross drilled rotors.
-
lunaticR32 - i've put you in, r32 gtst should be no probs, I think you can use the same rotors as r33 gtst ones, i've got an excel sheet of all nissan parts they have i'll check later. freddykruger - at the moment we're still gauging interest so I can go back to RDA n say "x ppl interested and about x pairs of rotors will b ordered, what's ur best deal?" you can jump in later once the group buy starts rolling. prelude_1976 - i've put you in. don't think they make cross drilled. even DBA discourage use of cross drill in hi performance applications as they tend to crack. for best strength maybe you'd b better off with dimpled ones (see pics on 1st thread). but i'll ask the guy at rda if they can cater your need.

Allright guys, the new thread is here (as well as in my signature) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=130883

UPDATED 20/9/2006 ALL 2 BATCHES SUBMITTED (26 PEOPLE, ALMOST 40 PAIRS OF ROTORS) SUCCESSFULLY. GROUP BUY HAS ENDED. GROUP BUY RE-OPENED, THE 3RD BATCH IS IN THIS NEW THREAD Hi All, I had contacted a rep from the RDA Brakes (Rotors & Drums Australia) and they're willing to give a good deal/discount depending on the qty that we ordered. Slotted Rotors Grooved Dimpled (Dimpled & Slots) More info can be found here: RDA Brakes Products Also, I have attached a zip file of RDA disc rotor part number for Nissan cars (Download and open Zip file, then open the XLS file, and just click read-only at the password prompt). The list of group buy people is as in this spreadsheet (zipped): <spreadsheet removed to protect pricing structure, not available to general public, only to serious buyers pm me only> People listed above please open the spreadsheet attachment and see if your car, slot/dimple, and front/rear options are correct. PM me with any errors or amendments, do not update the excel spreadsheet. I will confirm the part numbers with RDA so to ensure you will get the correct parts. Regards, Rianto

Alright, I've talked to the guy at RDA, they're willing to give a deal with group buy. I'll start a new thread in GB section ASAP, give it about a week to see how many ppl are interested and what discs they want, then I'll get back to RDA and get a discounted price list. After that we can organise the payments and getting the discs shipped to you or picked up. I'll post a link here to the appropriate thread... keep a watch

Those are aftermarkets, they have of course different colour coding than the OEM factory ones. For Nismo brand, 555cc is yellow, 600cc is purple, and 740cc is red.
-
Thanks... I think the FPR one is a cheaper way to get more power. I'll see how it goes after it's tuned tomorrow. If not, then forking out a little bit extra on the S15 ones seems like the best path for my small HKS2535, as with its power rating of I feel getting a Nismo 555cc injectors are way overkill.
-
With that quick calculation does it mean that a std 370cc RB25 injectors will support up to 370BHP or 276kw at flywheel or about 211rwkw? I've got my stock AFM maxing out a bit early at 206rwkw, and without upgrading any injectors except a Z32 AFM, I'd probably only get another 5kw or so for my $400?
-
I could probably ask the guy at RDA if they're willing to offer discount for group buys, and minimum order qty, etc. But if there's not enough actual intention here to really fork out some money to buy, it'll be a pointless exercise.

Yeah, that happened to my wife's place last year when we found out the dodgy developers only put one or two nails in each fence post. A whole section of 5m or so fence fell off to our side. Had Jim's fencing fixed it in a few hours and it held up after the windy day yesterday....
-
There was a HUGE tree beside the house so my wife was indeed very worried. Nice job with the CAI, that'll help to act like a atmo-venting BOV for those build up sulphuric gasses inside the bin.
-
I didn't take that picture dan, I was out till 11pm. My wife was the one came back from work and found the rubbish bin owned my car and decided to take some snaps with her mobile phone. Can't complaint... I wish it could be funnier but that's all there is 4 pics...

Darn, if I had waited 2 more weeks I would have paid a bit less. I paid $446 for my Z32AFM+plug delivered from Japan to my door. Just got them last week.
-
Is there a way to quickly differentiate these 480cc injectors from the non-JDM local ones? e.g. colours?
-
For a mild street tune has anyone tried upgrading stock R33 injectors with a JDM spec S15 injectors rated at 480cc/min? Will those injectors fit straight away without any mods? The problem is most package are sold in set of 4, so either you buy 1 set and then hunt the remaining 2 or buy 2 sets and try to sell the spare 2.

Gosh, is that in Northcote? I've just moved out of Thornbury/Fairfield area. Seems like hail or gail loves to strike there too. About 2 years ago a huge hail storm damaged a lot of units in my block and not to mention writing off some cars from water damage to the interior & electrical system, not to mention lots of panel damage from the hail.
-
That's very cheap Al, before the time of me finding out about nengun and flood of JDM parts on Ebay, I bought one of those HKB Boss Kit (HICAS) from Autospeed for over $200 That was 2-3 years ago at least.

Last night the wind gust was quite big. Heard of some trees falling in Tullamarine area dropping on cars. Any wind damage around your area? Lucky not much on mine, just a bit dignity is hurt - here's what my wife found when she got home from work: The wind blew so strong till the wheelie bin "ate" my car....... It's either a case of the 2-wheeler falling in love with a 4-wheeler or the wheelie bin thinks the 13-yo car is rubbish. OWNED BY THE WHEELIE BIN! Anyhow green & red does look good in pictures!
-
Thank you! And it comes with a wife that cooks and not complaining every second. She's the best! (The wife, not the corolla.)

RDA brakes has good prices for slotted discs. Best to get contact with them and get some quote. I had mine front in RDA slots, a lucky find on ebay a while ago, paid about $160 for the pair + shipping. My rears are still stock but I think for the price I got quoted (under $200 a pair for rear) won't mind upgrading the rears too.

I drive my wife's 2004 corolla. great fuel eco compared to my r33, and the r33 just idles and stretch its engine once in a while for fun.

R33 Gts-t Parts Cheap!
rs73 replied to shysky's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
SthealtynSA I just replied on your other thread. That S2 ECU will physically fit into your S1 ECU location but I doubt it will fire up your engine and running it properly. But I could be wrong, do your search. Good luck. -
Nope. S2 R33 GTS-t has different AFM, different coil pack, and thus the stock S2 ECU configured to controlling them won't be able to run on your S1 R33 GTS-t. Funny thing is if you buy PowerFC, there is no difference between a PFC for S1 R33 and S2 R33. So it must either be an urban myth that S2 R33 ECU can't be swap with S1, or Apexi has somehow found a way to "seamlessly" configure and run on both S1 & S2, which I believe this is the case.

Ordered Z32 AFM + connector plug (+/- $440 delivered) last Friday, order & payment was processed by Saturday, and AFM on its way to Australia by Monday, and arrived here today. About 5 days. No problems. As it's less than $1000 no issue with custom duty.
