  1. The fuel pressure test shows that my car got bad fuel pressure, it's not stable... I was told this is a common problem in GTS-t & GT-T... GTR fuel pump seems to last longer. Someone on this forum with R34 GT-T also had fuel pump issues and an R34 is at least 5-6 years newer than mine!
  2. I believe the one in the first post is the japanese edition. It's kinda illegal to export it out of Japan, considering BMI owns distribution license in Australia, and therefore only the one in the next post is officially available here in Australia. But hey if you can find one in Ebay, go for it. Good luck.
  3. Ok... so for mech diff we know kazaa is an alternative to cusco or nismo... Ok, back to the topic in the first page, if the stock diff is rebuild, will it still be viscous or can it be transformed into some kind of quieter mech diff? E.g. just replacing the diff centre?
  4. I was advised not to use any kind of oil additives into my engine. My mechanic said it usually makes things even worse, so how do I know if this product is safe?
  5. anyone figure out how to drive the Pennzoil R34 GTR? I only have the Loctite Zexel on activated in the pit.zip file.
  6. So it's not the swaybar that broke, but the std mount? Could this be attributed to using stiffer swaybar has put greater load on the mount when cornering? PS: I used whiteline too, and my car's 11yo so this kinda worry me a bit.
  7. How about that Toyota Edition?
  8. Franks, what swaybar are u using? Interested to know.
  9. well then did u fix ur engine and replace the fuel pump and had another go at dyno? what's the result? also using fuel pres. gauge, will it still be reading low if fuel line is blocked or fuel filter is dirty? any way to tell straight away?
  10. Just wondering anyone had this sort of problem and how to tell if it's the dying fuel pump and not something else? My car keeps leaning out even on stock boost.
  11. Good info, thanks!
  12. Dunca, is there a certain type of diff that is easier to live off on daily basis, e.g. 2 way versus 1.5 way versus 1 way? Or is it just a matter of staying on/off accelerator no matter what diff type above? Also gts-t vspec, how's that Kazaa diff center going and how long ur mate has it? I wonder how these local products compared to things like cusco. Price i believe is much cheaper and quite tempting.
  13. Hi, Has anyone tried this product? Suppose to clean carb deposit in lifters and may help to solve noisy lifters or sticky ones... Wonder if I should give it a try or not....
  14. someone said mech diff wont work with ABS... is it true? Also anyone heard of Kazaa diff (local)? They cclaim to be quiet and u can retain ur stock diff casing just swap d internals
  15. tell ur friend to forget it. sell his gtst and buy a proper gtr. apart from dropping the engine, nothing else can be done. floor pan wont match so he wont be able to use gtr 4wd gearbox he'll need to wire attesa electronic 4wd system and that could cost him a fortune if it doesn't work properly after being wired up brakes must be upgraded. next he'll need engineer's certificate otherwise if he got caught, he's in deep sh1t for doing an un-engineered engine swap. all up it may cost him very close to buying a gtr in the first place, so why bother unless he just want to be completely different to anyone else or he wants to hang on to his gtst for personal/sentimental reasons.
  16. LOL this is so funny.... hahaha in my case if i ever find that beeper thing i'd put it under my rear tyres, put my car into reverse and run over it.
  17. has any of you guys solved this problem since last year? My driver side had problem now... the up/down left/right adjustment is fine, but the mirror only wanna fold in with a click click and slight delay compared to the left one, and once it folds in it doesn't want to fold out anymore.. from those wire colours above, has anyone figure out which wire colour for which function?
  18. you beat me by a few secs rb25 anyhow I also use direct deposit for my last purchase (FMIC). The payment cleared instantly (apparently we happened to use the same bank) and my FMIC arrived within 2 weeks which is because it has to be made by order first from the factory. Otherwise EMS shipping normally takes around 5 business days if there's no delay in postal service.
  19. Nengun accepts payment by: 1. Telegraphic bank transfer 2. Paypal 3. Deposit to bank account I normally used Paypal, just create a free account at www.paypal.com and the payment you transferred from your paypal account to his will be charged to your credit card. But normally there's 4% charge from nengun to cover Paypal's transaction fee. Fair enough and not a big problem for small amounts. At least it's still far easier to do this than doing a telegraphic transfer that will cost a lot of money. If you're buying very expensive item then 4% may be high and you can transfer to his australian bank account (just ask him). Once it's cleared he'll ship the item to you. We all know how internet banking works.... even if you're in Africa, you can still log on to the net and check your account here. So does nengun.
  20. thx... my orig pitstop battery has a hose coming out of the side and it plugs into the boot floor just beside the battery tray. this is to direct dangerous gas outside the boot area...
  21. So a completelyy sealed batt can exploded cos the gas buildup cant escape? Any advantages/disadvantages for going dry cell compared to wet cell?
  22. Thank's... I had problem trying to get a Century doesnt' quite fit as the (+) cable terminal is a bit too short to reach the terminals on the battery Also did u find out if there are any reseller for this in Victoria, and if not if it can be delivered interstate safely?
  23. Can you measure it up in cm please? that'll be nice... WxHxD
  24. A local auto electrician said you're not allowed to have dry cell. All batteries are wet cell but they're now sealed so you can't really open it. Normally wet cell batteries can have a hose extension to the side to vent out gas, and in your R33 boot just beside the battery placeholder there is a little vent hole where you can plug the hose so the gas will vent outside the enclosed boot area.
  25. Top service, good price. Can't go wrong with him :-) he's a top seller.
