looks original enough for me, bought one before but didn't put it on decided to sell it again. it looks like it uses some glue between the two parts. can't u just glue them back with some kind of glue that will work with metal parts?

Now they do, watch your back out there guys... (and your sides too). No they didn't make me pull over, just send me a letter. In the letter it also states that drivers do not need to be pulled over, if they feel your exhaust is too loud, they can report you as many times as they wish and you'll get a request to do exhaust noise test each time they do...

Yeah, bad luck last week, came back from servicing my car, got nabbed I think by an EPA car on Hoddle St, E. Melbourne around 6pm. I think I even saw the car but didn't thought it was EPA car beside me as I thought it was a travel agent promoting a tropical island holiday or something (green umbrella logo). Anyway, as ppl who's been to the skidpan with me know that my car ISN'T that loud... and my exhaust system also got a resonator and muffler as well, so I went for noise test and passed just on the limit.

Oh, btw I passed the test @ 90db with my 3" Trust system. The noise tester looked under the car, saw the cat, resonator and muffler, so was ok. Faxed my result to EPA, and called them. The guy on the phone said that since I was on the limit... I may have to retest my car if I was reported again, as exhaust system can deteoriate, he said... What a waste of time!!! On way back from testing place to my office, was followed by a cop car... I can't believe my bloody luck this week Let's see if I had such a bad luck today, I may have to do another test next week.... Arrgh... so I can only hope that cops were cool today, as one of them was having his lunch..... wish me luck guys...

Obviously higher than our 90db... maybe like 93 or 95 But there has been a new Jasma standard released sometime last year maybe, and best bet is to get the latest model exh from jpn that conforms to the new standard, as it will definitely be quieter than exhausts models made 3-4 yrs ago, and new models could under 90db (perhaps... ?)

The instructor will sit with you in the car, so it's not a trash-it-yourself session. hey guys, i need to go to test mine too, so which one better? st albans? box hill dallder? i already got an aftermarket with resonator and muffler? what else "special resonator" they can add?? i'm hoping mine is around 89db though...

I just got an bloddy EPA exhaust noise letter today....... May give Exhaust City a call... i got front pipe, hi flow cat, cat-back with resonator, and proper muffler... I am hoping it will go pass the test at around 89db (finger cross). If not maybe a silencer would be an option i have to choose....
