No it's none of those. It's Code Alarm

Thank's Danny... In re: car alarms not happy with turbo timers, I got an alarm which unlocks the door on ignition off and locks the door on ignition on. What happens is when engine was turned off by the turbo timer, my door will unlock. So the car will be vulnerable for 30s until the alarm's auto arm feature kicks in. My plan is to disable this feature, so when engine is running with turbo timer, I can lock the car manually. When timer runs out and turn off engine, it will not unlock the doors. Car is still vulnerable for 30s but at least now the doors stay locked. 30s later the auto arm kicks in. I can even shorten the 30s auto arm period for extra security, like 15s but not very practical when you don't need turbo timer, as you'll need to rush collecting your things to get out before 15s runs out and auto arms your car.

has anyone managed to wire it up to handbrake wire? where do you find wires for the handbrake?

IGNORE THEM... Try not to look/turn your head at their hotted up cars... It works everytime for me... they'd probably be annoyed even more as they expected to be notice, but u don't give a damn; And as in ur case yourself, u won't see the "dirty look" on their face so you won't get annoyed... so u should continue to go merry your way...

look in yellowpages under speedometer, there will be companies who offer speedometer services.

Hi Greg, I didn't know you use normal SLR.... haven't been using film SLR for loong time can't remember now Up to 1600 is fine with me, maybe just 1024x768 so I can use them as wallpaper without loosing any quality. If you can, I'd like these.... web_fronts.jpg (first one) web_gtr_sides.jpg (blue & white gtr) web_rears.jpg (blue r34, black r32, red r33) web_row1_n.jpg (second from last) Can u pls send them zipped up to [email protected] ? It should take up to 7MB file... otherwise, don't worry about the 1st one, I'm more interested in the last 3. Thank's... -
happy new year to you all, look forward to more cruises in 2004
-
Like I said... that's why we're driving our skylines now... Anyhow, Trip to Adelaide was great.. look forward to do it again next year as there's still more to see that we couldn't cover in such a short time. Happy New Year everyone, drive safe on the holiday and have a good one!

Well finally there's some "light" here... yeah, it could be either the holden or hsv engine plant that I saw in Geelong. It's on the main highway on the left from Melbourne, can't missed it. Elizabeth factory don't know abt it... although Elizabeth suburb does ring a bell as I think we went past there on way to Cape Jervis or Barossa Valley (can't remember now which way....)

Well put it this way mate.... I grew up 25 years in a place where Toyota, Toyota, and Toyota are the cars I saw on the road. Other majority cars are Honda, Isuzu, Suzuki, Daihatsu, Mazda and some Mitsubishi, hardly any Nissan. The rest were europeans like BMWs and Mercs which is out of reach by 90% of population, including me. Even Holden Gemini has long gone since I was 5 yrs old, and until 5 years ago when I arrived here on Australian shore, I didn't even know that Holden is still around. As far as I remember from my childhood, we don't have Ford back there either. I've only known Ford from books about Henry Ford's Model T. I may not know for sure if Holden is in Geelong or Adelaide, but I do know Toyota is in Avalon. The one in Geelong must have been just a dealership, but strangely the building looks like factory, maybe it's HSV or maybe they just make the bolts to be sent away to Adelaide's Holden factory.... Maybe my short memory and lack of attention fools my brain into mistakenly assume that Ford building is a Holden building... My 2c
-
Then what about that humongous Holden building I went past everytime I drive to Geelong... I'm sure it says something about Holden Plant there... No one is getting OWNED, Timmayy... Cos if I really know sooo much about Holden, I must have been a Commie lover and I would have not bought and would not be driving a Skyline right now!

That's so ironic... sad to hear that.... Especially when Adelaide is home for one of the largest JAPANESE manufacturers: Mitsubishi not Holden, not Ford (both in VIC)

Funny I only spotted 3 so far during those 4 days visit.... Didn't even seen any in Glenelg Beach on Friday night either when we went to Hog's Breath Cafe. The thing I see (actually heard) more from our hotel room are revheads in commodores spinning tyres and revving through corners around King William St... very annoying when we tried to get some sleep at night, even worse and more numbers than Melbourne's Chapel St hoons doing laps... got one even doing burnouts for like 1 min or something... saw smoke everywhere from our window.

Did you park your car on the main road on that day? If so, then it must be your car that I saw.

what style is the rims? can you send pics to [email protected] please. thank's.

Greg, What about white balance, what setting did u use? I used cloudy on my Coolpix 5700 and it gave a little bit warmer tone, instead of that bluish/grey tint you had in your pics... (or did you do some colour correction?) -

Where else nice scenic cruising routes beside GOR? I had a drive past Warrnambool along the coast up to Adelaide. It was a terrific drive with many things to see along the way, although it'll be a bit too far for many, and wouldn't be suitable for a 1 day cruise. I was wondering if anyone tried going along the coast up to Lakes Entrance, would that be as nice as GOR? -
Hi guys.... I was visiting Adelaide from Victoria a few days ago on the 26-28 December.... A very nice trip indeed, we took the long way along the coast and stop in a few towns, also went to Kangaroo Island... Saw a couple of Skylines in Hahndorf on 26th December, a parked grey/gunmetal R32 and a passing R33 with windows down... Also the evening of 28th saw a silver R33 parked at the Chinatown... If that's anyone from this forum, just saying hi... none of you will recognise me anyway, cause I didn't bring my Skyline, just driving my friend's Corolla...

top 1 mate..... I've always loved 35mm SLR cameras... that spot metering helps to bring out the contrasts in the picture... sometimes could be better than using matrix metering which just "averages" everything in the viewfinder... in this example, you've done it well... -

No worries deano... My GTS-t also had the factory std frontbar, it made me worried that my car was a converted GTS to GTS-t but after learning the facts, and chassis no on the build plate, that "Type-M" bumper that people been talking about is actually the optional "Aero" bumper. I've managed to get my hands on the original factory aero bumper and aero sideskirts (don't bother getting one as they're expensive, unless you value originality like me) and hope I can fit them on after the new year...

GTR rear strutbar & bootfloor stiffening plate install?
rs73 replied to rs73's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
No walkoau, it's not against the seat. the plate sits vertically against the rising boot wall where the battery sits, facing towards us. I'd imagine installing it is not a pain, but getting to the battery after it is on will be a pain later.
