  1. try takakaira, nengun, greenline, perfectrun, also Rezz's new k-garage if he can find them for you... heaps of sources man... If you want to spend only $150 would be better of getting a custom one made... unless you wanna risk a 2nd hand one so cheap that it's already broken/cracked or something.
  2. Thank's akeenan, From that picture it looks like that the mounting plate on yours is a little bit different to mine. I saw the two holes for the bolt that attach to the suspension tower, but yours is missing the point where it will attach to the stiffening plate on my set... I figured out how the stiffening plate is gonna be sitting in the car, it sits vertically below that strutbar, and covering the battery halfway. Could be a bitch to get off when someday I have to replace my battery. Need to move my amp that is sitting beside that battery somewhere too...
  3. Being rice is not about manual or automatic!!! In fact, manual cars is more rice than automatics because you can change the gearknob easily with the one flashing lights, etc.... Silver goes nicely with std trim, but that cream colour is a bit showy and look out of place with your std seat/door trim. If you retrim your door insert and seat upholstery with cream leather or vinyl then it'll go along very nicely... and it'll look that you're doing the whole lot, not just a patch up job.
  4. with that budget I suggest you go for a brand new one as they are around that price ($320-360)
  5. All R33 GTS-t are Type M, regardless whether it has standard stock bar or the aero bar. In Japan they call what you call "Type M" bar as Nissan's "Aero" frontbar, never has it been called as Type M bar.. I think Type S it's for the non turbo GTS ones, as they don't have the "-t" in it, people may refer them as Type S. Or, it may have been derived from R32 series as in R32 series they may have Type S and M, but not in R33 as far as I know...
  6. COD is better used on smaller items, not big ones like rims or bumpers. There's a parcel limit of 105cm in length imposed by Australia post anyway.... Aussie Post will charge around $8 extra just for their commission if you ask for COD. This is generally paid by buyer side, plus postage cost when they pick up the parcel.
  7. Akeenan, is yours a GT-R or a gTS-t fitted with one...? From the orientation of the strut bar end bolts, comparing it with my picture, means that the stiffening plate should be installed vertically... am I correct? Would be nice if the picture shows the plate installed (removing trim), but please don't bother if that's too fiddly/troublesome for anyone to remove their boot trim. Thank's buddy. Rianto
  8. Just to make it clear, here's how it looks sitting in my living room uninstalled... (Ignore the subwoofers - they're not mine - enquiries about those subs will not be answered)
  9. Hi guys, I've just got my hands on R33 Skyline GT-R rear strutbar and bootfloor stiffening plate that goes onto the boot floor. I was told by the supplier that this can be installed in my R33 GTS-T. The thing is, it's HUGE. I kind of wonder if I have to move my battery and other stuffs before I can put it in, so I'm wondering if anyone with a R33 GT-R or another GTS-t with GT-R rear brace can you please take a pic of ur boot and show me how it looks like? I'm interested in seeing how the stiffening plate relates to the position of the battery and HICAS controller. Thank's very much. Rianto
  10. oh, so it's moved... I thought where on earth is my post...
  11. me = club photographer?
  12. Thank's guys.... the panoramas were also my favourites... I love my camera With so many pics I took on GOR cruise, skidpan days, BBQ etc, maybe I could be the SAU club's photographer (if there is such position)...
  13. Hey guys..... The BBQ was nice... had a great fun today... that vortex almost got ppl killed many times hehe I gotta learn how to throw 'em properly... or maybe if there's a turbocharged one, I'll buy it Anyway my photos are up here (Warnings to 56K users): http://users.bigpond.com/rianto/sau_photos/elwood.html
  14. Hi kev, I didn't know u guys sell gift voucher... LOL 'bout the noise.... too bad we didn't have some sundried tomatoes on the day... might give it a try shuffling some of those into that pipe you called exhaust... heheheh
  15. I'd say do whatever you do like with your car... If you like to spray your dashboard parts silver, do it. If you like a veilside big rear spoiler, put it on. In any other way, a "riced-up" skyline with stock mechanical will still goes faster than most other cars on the road. So what are you worrying about.
  16. Yeah, I thought it'll be 12pm @ Mentone beach and cruise slowly until we arrive in Elwood @ 2pm. Unless u guys have a way to get from Thomastown to Mentone in a blink of an eye.....
  17. I'm around preston. Not sure wher edgar rd is... Looks like no one said anything abt cancelling it so it's pretty much still spot on. but weather forecast doesn't look too good for tomorrow. Hope thre's no thunderstorm as said.
  18. Rezz, Does that aero mirror comes with a flat mirror on driver's side? if not, it may not be suitable for use in Australia... instant defect notice!
  19. Today I also heard a Go-Zigen (5Zigen) exhaust system on an R33 GT-R. It also has a nice deep sound to it without being too loud too.
  20. I'd like to thank's everyone for coming. I'm sure it's a great fun for everyone despite some concern about noise issue... But hopefully it didn't give us lots of trouble. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures this time, so if any of you who did, you can post a link up here.
  21. Did u do it yourself? You can do it via Jap-Eng online translator on http://world.altavista.com/tr
  22. I have Trust MX exhaust. Nice sounding exhaust note. Deep grunt when launching then turns into a very sweet rush exhaust note... Not tinny or crackling whatsoever. Its basically come with a resonator and proper size rear muffler with a 4" tip. The front pipe won't make it louder cos I have it on mine and doesn't make a difference. The only time where you will start to make it so loud is if you put an atmo-venting dump pipe, or in other word: screamer pipe.
  23. Hm, I think you might be right... I talked to whiteline and the guy there recommended that I actually start with the stabiliser bars front & rear first. Maybe I got it wrong the other way around when was told to change the shocks only not the bar....
  24. I'm sure an HKS EVC 5 would be good... Easy to adjust and tune as well.
  25. Hi guys, Hope I'm not missing anything much here... havent got much time reading the forums over this week... Looks like the club is finally going to take form, I'm pretty keen to see it started. Any sort of help I can give if I can spare the time off my work.
