  1. I''ve put you down :-) Need 2 more people now
  2. Anyone misses last skid pan day with Kev, I am looking for another 3 people to go for the next one. I plan to organise this to happen around mid september. Details here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=22629 PS: If I get enough responses, maybe can organise 2 x 6 people groups, 1 group goes on Saturday, the other goes on Sunday.
  3. err.. I bought a $74 item from Nengun, so I believe anything that cheap does not get taxed.
  4. I got new clutch in Jan, about 10,000km ago... Cant' possibly fry my clutch? I never do burnouts
  5. car was supposed to b compression tested today, but ICE was very busy, so haven't got the car checked yet... but after I've been driving it gently lately, the ride is getting better, dunno if this is the ECU resetting itself slowly or what? misfiring could be caused by plugs too, I suppose?
  6. I have, about 2 weeks ago. Good price, reasonably quick delivery from japan (via his agent in WA). Then the goods from WA to here (VIC) was sent by express post. I was happy with my purchase.
  7. I was told that you can't put a S2 ECU into a S1 car. However if 95 model ECU is also a S1, they might work with 93-94 car.
  8. yellow speed signs are advisory speed. round red border white background speed signs are compulsory speed limit.
  9. Sledge, If you are joining Kevin's session tomorrow, you should contact him. Otherwise, if you haven't registered yet, see my thread link up there (before your post) as I am finding 5 more people to join me with the next skid pan session! Rianto
  10. The GOR cruise has speed limit of 80-100 Nothing wrong taking a corner at that speed limit if both your car and you are capable to do it. I know my car can't, shocks could be worn, tiny stock rear rubber, I was only doing 40-60 on most tight corners. that's like at least 20kph below the limit.
  11. jap exhaust price could be a bargain now as A$ is getting stronger against Yen. Used to be JPY65=$1 when I bought my exhaust (ouch!) now is JPY75=$1, which means prices now could be 15% cheaper than last year.
  12. Anyone who missed out on tomorrow's event, I am trying to find another 5 people to go for another skid pan day with Kevin. (Maximum 6 drivers including me) The thread link is: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=22629 Cheers, Rianto
  13. max, u said u got d exhaust when u got the car, is it jap exhaust? got a "JASMA" plate on it? or perhaps just a custom made one
  14. Hi Kev, Won't be able to make it this Saturday, gotta do compression test on my engine. Rianto
  15. I believe definition of 'late model' would be anything after 1986 (Unleaded Petrol cars).
  16. Go to the track. Safer with lots of run-off areas in case you overshoot a corner. Get Apexi RSM or PowerFC :-), oh and a matching speedo.
  17. What's wrong with your "weird" exhaust Max? Does it sing when you're idling, or hum when you're cruising... and beg for mercy when you floor the pedal in your skyline? :-)
  18. True. Cruising through GOR, you'd miss a lot of beautiful scenery if you go too fast... kinda the right way to sit back for relaxed cruising, enjoying the scenery, just like when I travelled to Tasmania....
  19. you're welcome to come on any cruise. I'll keep ya company if ya dun mind cruising along with an older guy as I'm getting older I'm getting more scared than 10 yrs ago... so I also don't speed for no reason, and mild mods on my car wont keep up with some other beasts out there. stock tyres, stock suspension, stock turbo...
  20. Anyway but not the kingslake-healesville route.. went there once and the road condition was so terrible in the mountains, I think it'll destroy all your shocks. Very twisty though, for those who likes it but not much view and road is only 1-1/2 lane width which means if a large car comes from different direction you could scrape them.
  21. LOL, just kidding raza... I actually quite like the 4 door tail light cluster... Saw a blue one almost everyday parked on the way to work. A S-II R33 GTS-t 4 door could be my next car if I REALLY have to get a "family car" one day... For some reasons, R34 GT-t 4 door styling just doesn't cut it, as R34 seems to look good only in 2 door form. Prob'ly the R34 boxy boot shape & new tail light style is overkill for a 4 door.
  22. R31Nismoid.... Dun think anyone's gonna be turned off GOR next time, despite the casualties. The pain is worth the joy you're getting in return... heheheheh
  23. Monday morning to work (the day after) the car drives really sucks..... Gerald advised me to drive it gently, as I do now. It really like someone having a bad hangover the next morning... Tuesday, oil level back up again, I can reach almost 6 when driving and above 2 when idle. Today is low again. Driving it gently feels fine, quite good actually, but not when the boost comes up, then all the flat spots are back laughing at you. Nothing I can do except just back it off and drive gently again. Good for my fuel consumption though...
  24. Yea, I still want the same wine red, but I want something a bit deeper (not too dark), and coated with a nice clear coat that give that "wet look" (No it's not hair gel, thank's). Well, see if I can do it all b4 the cruise. Cause respray could be re-scheduled, not fixed yet.
