    Why Blow Fire?

but you still gotta remove your cat, otherwise unburnt fuel entering the exhaust won't blow flame out as they hit the cat first... and fry your cat busted for good... RSPCA won't be too happy if they heard you bbq-ed your cat hehehehe Penalty not carrying cat in your car will be high... . . . . . but officer, I have dogs, I can't possible keep any cats around...
  3. just put a 3" front pipe and get rid of that factory front pipe and that ugly looking heat shielding tin.
  4. heheh, welcome to the world of aftermarket frontbar meet driveway humps tragedy! 12.5cms not too bad, you just need to drive more carefully and not to trust any driveway/carpark entrances. if your car's been lowered, best bet is to change spring and raise it back to factory height. I don't see any other way, except you have an aftermarket height adjustible coilover suspensions.
  5. Watz the best radiator material? someone told me 100% copper material? they don't rust and conducts better? I thought aluminium don't rust?
  6. When my car was auto, stock exhaust, stock airbox, stock boost, I dyno-ed once and got 138rwkw / 185hp. I haven't dynoed it again now that it's manual, 3" turbo back trust mx exhaust, boost bleed valve @ 9psi.
  7. Perhaps, but ideally a very good & experienced installer will hide it so good behind your dash or even somewhere else in the cabin that it'll take hours to find it unless he tells you where it is.
  8. Good News for me: Looks like I will be visiting Tasmania after all these years.... Plans are mid May 2003, I know it may not be the best season to go as it's approaching winter, and the climate may be wet and cold, but better than never go.... Bad News for me: I won't be driving my Skyline, will be going with my old folks. We'll fly to Hobart then rent a little Lancer (I book for a manual one, hope they give me the right one, hate the autos in Lancer). From there we will be travelling around and making our way north and return to Melbourne via Launceston. But hey one of my previous car was a 93 Lancer, so I know they're pretty ok car in a manual form. Bad News for you: And if you think of asking "Rianto, can I borrow your 'line while you're away?", the answer is "No, not in a million years", then you say "DOH!"
  9. will it help if you sing out an "A" note while doing it as well?
  10. how much are R33's ? boxes only of course, $600? 800 ? do Nissan still sell them brand new from their parts bin?
  11. Nissan better stay away from bathurst v8, otherwise if the Falcons n Commodores not happy abt the R35 GT-R kicks their ass, then another heavier ban of imports for the next 10 yrs!!!! R33 & R34 being forced into grey market is the proof of the V8 boys retaliation to R32... coward chickens! bokkk.... bokkk....
  12. I thought u said high mount, isn't for a hi mount turbo, which means will be too long for a std (low) mount turbo
  13. Next Monday night you mean?

  17. seriesII.... do you know what oil were u using back then and what about now?
  18. That's in US? MAybe watched too much "Fast n Furious", some people just don't get it and think they can do like in the movie and get away with it, not realising in the movie it's a controlled environment with stunts n camera tricks. Sad reality, should've taken it to the tracks. He was only 17, n got his car when he was 16... what age can you legally drive here? 18? I suppose? I didn't get my 1st license in the country that's why I never know.
  19. hey, so u manage to find a std exhaust from someone living close to you! did they test the emission on yours too? I wonder where can you get a db meter, I wanna do my own check
  20. What time? I was watching it from half onwards but didn't see it. maybe I missed it again? I thought it's gonna be the last news. Last time someone posted a link to their website to get access to the video archive
  21. sounds like synchro... did you try heel 'n toe instead of double clutching?
  22. anyone wanna sell the stock M spec bar in burgundy?
  23. GTR only has 3 centre gauges. That one got 4, mean it's aftermarket. Could be a GTS4? Measures front torque, oil temp, and vacuum, plus a secondary clock besides factory one. Or something to measure 1/4 mile acceleration.... That blue colour looks damn sexy on that GTS thou... and is that a cow fur headrest hehehe kinda a chic's car u reckon...? Dunno, one of my neighbour (a chic) got cow spot pattern seat cover all over so that makes me kinda stereotype cow fur = chic stuff
  24. I think most of the automatic will come as ABS as they're more of luxury items. Mine came with one, but I've ditched my auto and chucked in a manual gearbox 2 months ago. The only thing if your car don't have ABS and you have to make a hard braking in the wet, never kill your pedal by stomping on it as it will lock all your wheels and slide your car even further. As soon as you hear/feel your wheel locking lift up the pressure off your foot a tad so the brake pressure is in the treshhold before locking your wheels. Needs practice, but when done properly, you can stop as quick as an ABS equipped car. Try finding an empty street on a rainy day and do that practice until you know what amount of foot pressure you need to stop without locking your wheels.
  25. Have you got a pic of your pedals Timmy? I wonder it must be the old momo model, as the current one they are selling all have rubber inserts as the picture above.
