  1. Oh, and mine is S1 R33, no airbags, so easier, just need to get that bl@@dy centre nut off....
  2. Ok guys, I want to put on my Momo wheel. So this afternoon, I managed to get my steering wheels off, piece of cake. Saw the centre hexagonal locking nut. Sprayed some WD-40 on it, and it wont budge at all..... bugger.... @#$% I tried using socket 17mm (the largest one I had) but won't fit. I use 3/4" but seems to be just a little bit loose there. Maybe this cause a bit of difficulty turning the socket wrench and the nut won't unlock. Anyone can help me, whoever done this before, what socket size you use? Metric or Inches system? Is it 18mm or 19mm???? Thx. Rianto
  3. I tried the turtle wax, with the chip stick... The wax itself is colour coded (just get the same shade as your car, e.g. red, blue etc). It did cover up a 2" scratch on my boot lid and looks less obvious unless you come very close. I may do it again to get another layer for better protection. Always a good idea to do it once every few months I suppose, but of course not every week.
  4. I can't attach an image using PM... DUDE! If you're the sys admin, either find a way to enable that feature, or leave me alone... This info could also be useful to anyone, so no harm putting it here.
  5. How I ran the wires: From glovebox, out the front glove box side wall, and down to the back end of the glovebox (on the outer side, between glovebox wall and the dashboard wall). Running along the side of glovebox and up where there's an opening at the far end of the dashboard. Run through the opening and down to where my ECU is in the kick panel (from behind the floor carpet). Fairly easy to do and you don't have to drill any holes. Rianto
  6. Here's how I install my SAFC... First pic: My SAFC is sitting nicely in the glove box. Gotta tidy up those double tape so they look better, will do it tomorrow.
  7. Shiro, What TEIN model you reckon is the softest and suits Australian road better? I saw they have many models, HA, NA, HE, etc... getting confusing and their website is not helping much.
  8. I've driven both pwr steering & non-pwr steering cars. Not that much difference when you're driving, as non pwr steering car not that heavy as long as car is moving. In pwr steering cars it just feels a bit lighter. The only big difference is when doing parking manouvres.

    just a quickie!!!

There's a kit from www.PerfectRun.com.au that allows you to turn on both hi and low beam when the light stalk is on hi beam position, this is to get more ilumination. Brand is East Bear. Kit is pretty pricey I reckon, about $180 plus not including delivery. If someone know abt electronic, I reckon it will probably just some wiring harness, isn't it?
  10. In Victoria minimum legal diameter for steering wheel is 33cm. What size is this steering wheel?
  11. UAS sells a polishing kit for headlight plastic covers, make them shiny again. Mine still good haven't tried their stuff but some who did were happy. Free plug: www.uniqueautosports.com.au
  12. my car could almost stall if I turn on Aircond and come to an idle when slowing down. It will drop to like 500rpm, almost stall and comes back again... this happen only when the aircond compressor is working on. when the compressor is sleeping (when it reaches the desired temp), there's no problem. And of course no probs when aircond is off... would only happens to me during this summer season. I think I can live with it for 3-4 summer months
  13. but becareful, too lean a mixture could destroy ur engine (detonation)... so don't try to get any leaner than that "perfect" A/F ratio...
  14. Is the pwr steering fluid for HICAS uses the same top up location as the one for front steering in the engine bay? Or is it separate at the back?
  15. Arsn, I'm thinking of putting an aftermarket steering wheel as well. What sort of boss kit do you use?
  16. Is there a possibility to mount an aftermarket BOV in the stock BOV location?
  17. Does it includes the blinkers (indicators)?
  18. me too, I only drive thru chapel if going to the jamfac for movies, nothing else... as soon as movie finish n we're out o' the carpark, I just drive away as soon as I can n as quiet as possible from that area...

  20. Hey Inark, What 3" exhaust u got? I got Trust MX... I read the spec that the tip diameter is the same with Apexi N1, so was wondering if the N1 optional silencer will fit in nicely in the Trust MX? (Just need to drill a hole in the tip to hook up the silencer) I actually don't think my exhaust too loud, but it should be able to make it quieter whenever you don't wanna attract too much attention.

    my pineapples...

u all crazy, why would u wanna smell ur pineaples anyway.... keep it tuck away neatly and nicely in away from your nose and you'd be allright... I wouldn't suggest where to tuck them in, but I'm sure u got lots of imagination
  22. Hi Denham, Yea I do remember him... Did he has a power chip installed? I thought his car was worked by APS somewhere in Bayswater area, with Chiptorque computer and he some FMIC... I'm not sure which dyno power chip based their reading on, but I'm planning to get PowerFC anyway, so it won't bother me much Rianto
  23. That's why I installed my SAFC in the glove box... safe from prying eyes...
