  1. isn't wider at rear is better for corner handling? or getting too wide gives out other problem, like u said handles like a pig means ur car getting slower???
  2. maybe that's why they say 850whp instead of 850rwhp..... (note the missing "r") if anyone raises concerns... they can just say.... "rear wheel..? what rear wheel? our wheel is the flywheel...." get it???
  3. why'd you have to wait till u get back n wondering who he/she is.. ? you should've talked there, I'm sure most skyline owners r enthusiast abt their car and fellow alike....
  4. Not only u need to turn it off, you had to plug it off and hide it quickly as well, and dun let your ciggy lighter left open coz that will raise suspicion... any how after u've done all that, if they suspect you they can always search the car and find it, then you'll have to pay the hefty fine. Speaking of ciggy lighter, my one is missing, which is not good actually. Not that I smoke, but I just dun feel like leaving my car ciggy lighter plug with nothing in it. Looks dodgy like having a radar detector somewhere in the car. I can't seem to find any replacement in K-Mart Auto/Repco... Guess have to go to nissan dealer n order one from them?
  5. MRE, I have an auto as well and it made 138kw (190hp) at the rear wheels in totally stock air box, stock exhaust, stock boost. I had it up to 9psi now but didn't made any more power at top end, although I noted slightly increased in mid range. This is coz stock exhaust is very limiting, and I'm still waiting for my 3" exhaust delivery...
  6. it looks fairly expensive for something that's not even a proper radar detector... it relies on a database of known speed camera location (that is, if someone bother maintaining & updating the database continuously) and using GPS let you know if you are approaching any known location.... It wont know if any cops decided to park their car at a side road and start using their radar.... unless they are always at the same spot 24/7 and someone put information abt that place in the database...
  7. If the installer stuffed up, shouldn't they be responsible to replace ur speedo? If it's so risky, would it be better to buy a cluster set ready to plug in, but that would cost heaps I suppose...
  8. What's that thing abt beating speed cameras???? I missed tonight show coz had to stay a bit late at work n da bloody traffic takes me 45 mins to get home &@#$%@!!!!! It should normally took me no more than 25 mins home......
  9. I know abt speed limiter, but my question is: If I change my speedo face to 320 one, while the electronics behind it is standard 180 speedo, how can this be recalibrated? Otherwise, if the needle shows speed of 320km/h, it is actually only 180km/h in real life because I only change the face plate, not the whole system... (think as if someone just stick a sticker dial 0-320km/h on top of your speedo)
  10. any legendary old cars are deemed to be expensive.... even in Jap they're crazy abt mini morris, expect to pay the same price of a R33 GT-R for one of the old mini in good nick
  11. damn cool..... I reckon if u had one of those, u'd probably have it locked up in a garage somewhere n only use it as a weekend cruising.... must be a real collector's thing these days......
  12. someone offered me $90 for a set of skyline white speedo face, he said can do 320 face as well... this means your whole speedo cluster (tacho, boost, fuel, etc) however the question is, if the electronic behind the face is a 180 speedo, what will be involved in changing it to suit 320 km/h face????
  13. how much one of these sets of ricey dials cost? I actually wonder if anyone made 'em in red background with white letterings.... instead of white background....

    who owns "badak"

Exactly same with Indonesian word as well, and it gives the conotation of being oversized/huge. In west java region of Sunda, in the local dialect "Badak" means massive n it's not quite a very good impression... Hope this does not cause the owner made a trip to vicroads n change his/her number plate...... That's why I never put any ricey indonesian word as my plate.. such as "Mainan" = Toy, "Becak" = rickshaw the three wheeled traditional public transport in asia...
  15. so you reckon our R32/R33 will cost the same in 20 yrs time.... if so better keep em immaculate!
  16. Believe it or not, they're selling these at 6,000,000 YEN in Japan.... Can't be bothered to convert that to our $ but if R33 GT-R are selling at 2 - 2.5 Yen, then you can imagine how much these thing cost... 3 to choose from If anyone read the latest HPI, the special issue GT-R... there's some short article about these first GT-Rs.
  17. but old sis can also have fun in da summer...... yeah baby....!
  18. young sis dressed in black...
  19. And if u feel the old lady kinda too old to win ur luv... there's always her younger sisters...
  20. ... and what she looks like underneath...
  21. the lady's rear...
  22. Well, not quite mine..... Here's some pics I found from that Yahoo Auctions Japan... Datsun Fairlady SR311, not sure what year... perhaps circa 1960s?? Looks in good condition, I can still drool.... too bad selller will not ship overseas.
  23. hope it's not gonna be in another local paper somewhere telling readers what happen to this "hoon's import hot shot box"
  24. I know the hefty fine running ur car without a cat... Are all the front pipes by HKS/Apexi/Trust removes the cat or not? If they do, then they can only be used for circuit racing only, right...?
  25. how do you tell whether a front pipe is street legal or not... some front pipe from certain brands require you to remove your cat but some other brands are only up to where the cat is so you can still use your cat and not doing something illegal
