  2. quote sent
  3. by the way,,, nice white coupe... haven't seen that 'tame' offset for a while after I've had mine on 19s!
  4. spider????? Oh no!!!!!!!!!!! INCY!!!!!!!!!!!! my pet spider........... that's where you've been hiding.............! no, just kidding LOL lucky it wasn't any bigger, we had palm size lunging around the house from time to time ... good luck with VicRoads.... I had to make 3-4 return trips when I was trying to register mine due to the fact each of the 3 ladies behind the counter on different days had different concept of how to register an import, until a bloke was taking care of my case and it just went absolutely smooth in under 1 hour time!
  5. or if you happen to know that the particular make & model of that rims are known to fit over brembo brakes with that offset... but most aggressive offsets e.g. +20mm or less will likely to clear brembo calipers....
  6. it all depend on the shape of the spokes, the way it curves... offset is just one of the many factors... but FYI, standard 18" oem rims are +30mm offset. with the same shape of spoke and thickness you wouldn't want it to be less than +30mm as it will be a very close clearance... but then you must also consider the thickness of the rims, if you don't want it to stick out of your front guards and look silly. So the answer to your question is - unknown. there is no way to make sure unless you physically trial fit the rims.
  7. he's already pick them up using his Toyota Aristo... huge boot in that car! two rims went in easily in the boot side by side, the other 2 on the back seat.
  8. Update to RDA Group Buy 49 order list: (Closing 7th Aug) - keii (payment cleared) - Moodles2 (waiting for payment to clear)
  9. Also if you guys still wanna head down to garage cafe after that meet, it's recommended to book prior to that, as if it's more than 8 ppl it's best to book otherwise the limited 15 car space is 1st come 1st serve basis... Garage Cafe & Bar 221 Berkeley St. Carlton 3053. VIC. Australia. P: 03 9349 5000. F: 03 9349 1553. www.garagecafe.com.au
  10. so it's not the public car park (marked triangle), but further down - pass the aquatic centre (marked square) in the attached picture? is that where you mean?
  11. cool, i might be on another week's leave 17th Aug for 1 week. should be able to get the car to you easier if you arrive that week any day. what other option beside CK600?
  12. auto trans' semi-manual mode, you mean? or is yours 6MT?
  13. he is... hey chris, got a date yet? I think i'll add those 2 things I asked you about.... but the BT screen, where u reckon that will mount? sticking up on dash?
  14. if yours have leather seat, I wouldn't recommend dumping wheels at the back, not sure but those leather seems to be requiring a lot of TLC... or bring lots of throw rugs / cloth sheets to wrap the wheels...
  15. err, maybe immobiliser problem. from how Chris did my car he completely rip out factory immobiliser and put in the ADR one. he said something about the factory immobiliser is going to give you grief soon or later, probably if they just piggy back the ADR one on top of the factory one that's probably the main source of your problem.... but just let Chris give his insights... or you can take it to him when he is down here sometime August... wheels - wise, never done it before but I think if you take off the boot floor and leave your spare at home, you can get either 1 or 2 in the boot, 2 in the back seat, and 1 in the front passenger seat, but with all those plastic dashboard parts I hate to see your interior get scratched.... or you make 2 trips, since you're so close in sunshine....?
  16. if it wasn't the battery sounds like either dying fuel pump or dodgy immobiliser
  17. alright - I have contacted Garage Cafe... they only can take 15 cars maximum inside... and on Saturday 25th July they are open to public FROM 5pm only...
  18. oh my - getting trigger happy aren't you? :-) will be waiting on xspace237 to pickup my rims tomorrow.... not sure but you guys go on without me if I can't make it.
  19. What time you reckon? Although I am not sure if I can be there... but would be nice if at least there's some follow up for those who wanna go... I think Carlton location is quite practical to most?
  20. where are you based, Tom?
  21. that was my set, and it's sold & paid within 3 hours...
  22. Concrete slab. Treatment barrier pipes are established around the house with a few refilling points around. You know those green square plastic caps... I have a regular company who I use through my builder's recommendation when I had the house built 2-3 years ago. Last check about 1.5 years ago, I haven't had the chemical retreated since my landscaping work around the house. PM me a quote, I'll have a comparison... or what else do you need to know? perimeter length? if required I can calculate off the house drawing/plan. Some are bordering to a concrete driveway, some are bordering to lawn
  23. do you do chemical treatment for termite protection barrier?
  24. Carlton? hm.... how about Garage Cafe? never been there so dunno how big their inside car park is, although food probably not the best said my friends...
  25. previously some areas with large public parking would be around albert park, or somewhere near the Como park... but that's more suitable to people who live in southeast areas... not sure about the west, I'm only here about 1 year... so perhaps somewhere at the far end of sunshine central but depending what day/time it could be very packed though.... or I'm not sure if opposite VUT Footscray there's a big public car park which probably is a bit ample during weekends, although it's a gravel car park so I just hope no mindless idiot in their RWD shitbox gets interested, pops in and doing doughnuts with gravel flying everywhere... talk about stone chips and cracked windshields... or what about horse shoe bend park's viewing area? I saw that area a couple of times when I past keilor park drive, seems to be a good viewing spot with ample space...
