  1. hm, even a thin layer of oil might splash and leek around - what if it slowly seeps on towards the friction area while the wheel is spinning @ 100km/h? unless you're preparing for an auto salon or show and shine competition, I wouldn't bother doing it mate... or if you want you can try finding any hub cover off the internet which is made of coloured anodised aluminium, which could be used to conceal the surface rust on hubs... just be careful that they're not too thick that they reduce the contact amount of your bolt thread.
  2. Tom, Dav - quotes sent. Dav0, if your post not enough to send me pm, email me: rsoputro at hotmail dot com (replace at & dot - you know the drill).
  3. I work every day, we're in the middle of technical go live with a project before you buy any blank keys, talk to chris rogers on this forum because changing keys in v35 is not the same or as straight forward as in r32 33 34.
  4. proper compliance workshop shouldn't leave it intact... sounds a bit dodgy, I hope they do everything properly or it could cause headache down the way, not trying to scare you but sh1t does happen around... but at least half your troubles is gone as it's been rego'ed. I think those air diffusers are more gimmicks than actually works... Oh and we can call you Nelly if you want
  5. nope, sorry. RDA won't do it, unless you're willing to order 1 (forklift) crate consisting of 120 pieces of rotors as a minimum order, they will do it. maybe you gather 60 owners of those who need blank rotors and share the cost?
  6. Gee - you're not kidding... very persistent... I lost count of the stone chips in the original pics... now if only you're as persistent with a touch up paint against your own bumper, you might get an even better result :-)
  7. LOL... Infinyline, Skyliniti... sounds like back to the era of Sileighty... anyone dare to retrofit a 350Z face on a V35? or vice versa?
  8. I didn't know WRX ever made in V6 engine? is that what you mean by V6? Welcome anyway.... although I thought since you're coming from a 98 WRX, probably better off if you get a newer R34...
  9. few more pics for you to drool over... actually for $50 I got 6 pics only... still less than $10 a pic still a good value for money... you can see the OEM brembo calipers off a 350Z track, straight fit, it's the same as OEM brembo option on V35 skylines, and the EBC grooved & dimpled rotors off my own RDA/EBC group buy. That's all I have... if I want more I gotta book for another private shoot day...
  10. PS: location you better talk to tangcla, I don't wanna spoil his special location, although it could be some random alley anywhere in inner city suburbs... But you need a place without too much street light... fairly dark... and to be honest, you don't wanna be there alone at night... a rather scary place to be ha ha... so a rotating group photo event with limited number of cars/people is better & safer for everyone...
  11. yeah, I'm lovin it... it's still quite a big improvement over my old R33 Gtst, even if the V is auto, slower & without the 230rwkw or 16psi boost fun... but the creature comfort are worth it for day to day traffic... it originally came with infiniti boot badge, but with original skyline & 350gt badges on the boot and original nissan in the front grill. apparently previous owner in Japan either only replaced the rear nissan badge, or kept the front infiniti badge. I had to purchase the infiniti grill badge off the internet just to complete the logo change front to back. my airbag still have nissan logo on it though, it needs to be replaced as a whole unit. I did a research replacing airbag with usdm infiniti spec is not quite as straightforward, the connector at the back could be different, plus it's quite a big job of dismantling the steering wheel to swap the thing... So it's kind of a 'hybrid' INFINYLINE!
  12. gee you worked hard... looking good... whose car is this? strange badge...
  13. e-penis? on a car? how about add some scrotum to match... available in matching colours!
  14. has it been complied? during compliance the HID kit wiring must be severed and removed. if it has been complied, lucky you
  15. can't wait to see the rest of tonight's result
  16. so the head unit itself don't have speakers in them? I think for my own home use /hobby guitar, i'd be better off getting a small practice amp then :-)
  17. $50 www.tangcla.com photographer there's a photoshoot happening yesterday evening and now as I am writing this... see here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...40#entry4682520 dun think you'd be able to make it, as the guy's busy taking photo so he may not see your pm... might have to wait another time
  18. The auto box in V35 is not a bad thing, really, it's probably better than most other auto out there, so never say the word "unfortunate"... Nice 06 model by the way... great projector lamps and those 2 round thing on your front bumper, are those optional corner cameras or are they parking sensors?
  19. Finally I got some worthy pics of my V35... even silver can be sexy too if it looks like this :-)
  20. yeah, maybe I got some left in the fridge... want some? LOL add it to a full tank of E10 petrol in your Liberty, it'll go 0-100km/h in 3.5sec easy... in your hallucination
  21. Oh, by the way does the last one frontal shot where I had to step on the brake lights against the grafitti wall - that didn't turn out ok? Or was I limited to 5 pics... so the 6th pic have to go? Sorry, I withdraw that.. I got all 6 pics... my vista doing weird thing, extracted 6 photos but only showing 5 in the folder... until I hit refresh a few times... damn computer... thank's Clarence Here's a sneak peek...
  22. by the way, got the photos.. look good!
  23. Oooh, nice cloud, I didn't get any... Oooh... stone chips!
  24. whoa, you're posting this on your blackberry or something? LOL
