  1. quote sent... Group Buy #45 order list: - scandyflick (payment cleared) - heller44 (payment cleared)
  2. performance wise on turbo system it's probably more noticeable as there's less restriction... not sure on N/A vehicles as some of the key points in keeping performance up on N/A engine is actually applying some exhaust restriction so the exhaust gas goes out at a controlled rate from one cylinder and another, creating what they call an alternating suction effect to help expelling the gas efficiently, that's because N/A engine do not have an assistance from turbo to create a positive pressure in the system to push the exhaust gas as quickly as it can... but since I reckon N/A race cars don't use cat, there should be some extra HP gain, but probably not by much, at least less than those in turbo system
  3. That's my friggin' finger! I have never paid attention whether that Enter button is illuminated or not... probably nothing much you can do about it, just live with it, considering we hardly use the button for anything since the computer is all in Japanese and most features only work in Japan, I think it's not really worth to fix
  4. yes, legality wise? decat = huge EPA fines... think of $10k or above in fines and legal cost. You might as well hand your car to the EPA for free to pay your environmental debts....
  5. only if Falcon's PCD is 5x114.3mm by factory standard, and if Falcon's centre hole diameter is the same or bigger than Skyline. if not then it will be up to the end user to modify their hub to fit. Reason is they don't do custom made rotors unless you're willing to buy a minimum of 120 pieces (60 pairs) in one order
  6. If anyone else here using A1RMS pads on daily basis I'd like to hear about it... Group Buy #45 order list: - scandyflick (payment cleared)

    R33 Weight

is there a weight limit before the annual rego becomes more expensive?

    R33 Weight

problem with websites sometimes they just generalise across all model range... attached is the scan...

    R33 Weight

Based on Nissan Skyline JDM Brochure from japanese dealer: R33 Gts25-t coupe: 1360kg (man), 1380kg (auto), 1390kg (man super LSD model) R33 Gts25 coupe: 1320kg (man), 1350kg (auto) R33 Gts25-t sedan: 1380kg (man), 1400kg (auto) R33 Gts25 sedan: 1360kg (auto only) R33 Gts RB20 engine sedan (not eligible for import under SEVS): 1270kg (man), 1290kg (auto) Unfortunately I do not have any brochure of the R33 Gts4 (AWD version), so no idea how heavy, but probably would be close to 1400-1500kg similar to GTR weight less one turbo weight as it's only single turbo instead of tt.
  10. It is probably already on its way. What I'll do is I'll grab the consignment number and you can ring the courier with that consignment number. It's a lot easier that way.
  11. No, got too much stuff on at work and I just got home. Will do it Monday.
  12. Is QFM pads = A1RMS?
  13. will follow up... However there are no correlations to where you are, you can be in Melbourne yet people in WA may get theirs first because when RDA receives the order if they know the WA branch has a stock close by it gets shipped directly from there instead from Melbourne warehouse. Most likely you were not home when the courier tried to deliver, this had been 99.99% of the cases over the past 3 years
  14. Dave, normally around a week... that brings to mind... Denis [Delta Force], if yours not received yet by Mon/Tue, send me a pm I will follow up.
  15. a few yrs ago i got mine @ Roger David, told the lady it's urgent, she had it sent to alteration express (basically only shorten the pants and sleeve), and I pickup saturday noon or afternoon. you may have time with late night shopping tonight but I am not sure. if pressed on with time, get the suit, slid some pins on the sleeve/trouser if you need it short a bit tad (nothing look more unprofessional than a suit that looks too long for you in the arm and leg) - don't think employers won't notice - they would, especially if you're interviewed by HR people - they scrutinise your behaviour, hand movement, any sweating etc. look schmick - and be yourself. you'll be fine, and good luck
  16. There are no conclusive answers as no other person who have used gold passivated rotors reported the fast wearing issue that you're experiencing... I myself use the gold passivated rotors on my 1590kg V35 with a set of EBC Redstuff pads, and have done 5000km commuting traffic and the rotors are fine and haven't lipped at all... practicaly surface still smooth like brand new. As I also paid money for my own rotors through this group buy, I would also be pissed if my gold passivated rotors wears out too quickly, and I don't work or affiliated with RDA. Keep in mind that general OEM rotors normally have a lifespan of around 30,000 - 40,000km. My front stock V35 rotors were lipped and were already under the minimum thickness when the car landed with 49000km, so I would have estimated the previous owner in Japan didn't replace the rotor at 40000km service which was when it was suppose to be replace. I would expect RDA rotors also have a life expectancy around 30,000-40,000km just like OEM rotors.
  17. Spotted pearl white V35 sedan today in the city, on A'beckett st & Elizabeth st intersection at the lights. Seems like an early 2001-2002 model looking at the boot lid opener at the back (with the flap)
  18. as you can see others have received theirs, yours should not be too far away as well... just sit tight.
  19. plus.... people who buy these generally are not reluctant to trash the hell out of the $150k car... see snowy's comment about using it for targa tassie!
  20. Jealous? You should be happy not having to own one. You just saved yourself $150,000 and having to re-treat the engine sleeve bore when it reaches 100,000km as part of the scheduled required service... I hate to know how much 100,000km service cost on one of this thing. :-) but of course, with a car like this, you have the right to still feel jealous...
  21. excellent - nice colour, same as what my father in law purchased in Malaysia... can't wait to try his GTR for a spin when I go there in November!
  22. sorry to tell you but it's not gonna work with 350Z parts. they don't share the part. 350z & v35 coupes have twin exhaust exit pipes on both side. v35 sedan has on the right side exit only. pipe diameter 2.5" to 3" are usually for turbo. aftermarket non turbo usually ranges around 2" - 2.25" max, with non turbo you actually LOOSE power if you go too big and it will drone like hell. be careful with non turbo exhaust mods, as it's easy to get it very wrong.

    Query =)

I wish they do the same in my area (more cops required), as at night I could regularly hear screeching tyre of cars doing drifting somewhere in the vicinity but I can't tell just by looking out the window, and my street is suppose to be a 50km/h residential area but the straight bit in front of the house is a frequent for bikes and cars to have a woosh around at least 80km/h based on estimates. I called VicRoads suggested installing a few speed bumps on my street, they say it's council's matter, so I might ring council but council inspector don't work overtime (e.g. 11pm - 2am where I heard the hoon drifting around) so maybe I will ring local police station to report hoon behaviour in my area. I'm getting pissed myself - there are kids on the sidewalk, people walking dogs - someone is going to get hurt if the behaviour continues. I actually see one bike doing wheelie in my street with my own eyes - WTF...? I drive an import , yes - like you, V35 now and previously R33 turbo for 5 years (no defects/been driving side by side with cops car on the road no worries), and I think if cops frequent your street, most likely there's been reported trouble in the area (I see youre in sth eastern - is it dandenong hoon hotspots?), and have made some reports. if you're not the hoons they're looking for, maybe one of your other neighbours is the hoon who have pissed off all your other neighbours and the result is what you're experiencing right now. since the cops don't know which car is the culprit then I think they have the right to check on anyone they suspected is the culprit. IMHO they (ur reporting neighbours and cops) are doing the right things. If you're not doing the illegal things - why are you worried about the cops?
  24. what do you expect - it's Natasha Yi - an asian american model... they had too much Macdonalds there... a bit on the round side
  25. LOL - with carputer installed in your car, with wireless broadband a bit torrent client installed, you can d/l any 'fast forward' scenes as you want while cruising 4 hours to GOR... By the way, those pics come from a MAGAZINE media coverage here: http://www.djgcue.com/AccessMagazine.html
