Not only US, JDM also. Late model V35 (2005-2006) has 19" available, not sure about width

How do I spot tyre rim guard? the cheapo nankangs that I put on'em has a tiny edge that protudes out slightly but not much, maybe 1 or 2mm, don't really trust them to be good enough as rim guard... but I reckon most tyre makers these days would have had some kind of rim guard when it comes to low profile tyres, e.g. 40 and below... but until I managed to mount them and have the actual car weight load on the tyres I can't tell how the sidewall will shape or if that thing that I thought as rim guard will be pushed out a bit... The offset is +25 front and +30 rear. Not so sure about clear indicators, seems after getting ripped off by the exchange rate this time I am a little bit paranoid getting anymore JDM parts, maybe better wait at least until it hits 80+ JPY again...

Thank's, but the finish is quite 'fragile', I accidentally lightly touched one of the rims with another this morning, and managed to chip a little bit off the paintwork on the edge. not very noticeable, but can't bear the thought what it would look like after a few thousands km of driving... all those stone chips, etc... not too mention the unlucky gutter encounter...

Gosh Stephen, I've got for you a mouthwatering 19" in the pics and you're looking at the dirt on the floor? You need help, man. ha ha ha

Yes, I think shipping from the states to A$ is still cheaper than the other way around.

For Sale As New Cpv35 Nismo 280 Klm Dash.

I think that might be right, actually. I wish it's for a tiptronic... -
IMHO 19" still looks small-sh on these V35s.... it we had JPY120 to A$ then would have tried for some 20" perhaps...

Well actually it's not fitted yet, I just did a dodgy camera-trick - putting the new rims in front of the current ones and have a feel what it'll look like. Reason is I found out my stock Nissan bolt wrench head is bigger than the nut holes of the aftermarket rims... So I didn't bother to take off the stock rims at this time... So either I have to: a) find a long RAYS -style wheel nuts so it will stick out just enough for my stock Nissan wrench to reach the bolt and tighten it, or b) find a small head wrench. But in anyway they're Sportec Mono 10 rims, (made by RAYS), 19x8.5 & 9.5 staggered set with 245/35 & 275/35 Nankang NS-II - the best money can buy in these times of financial crisis... Even though the rims were cheap as they're second hands, but I'm not very happy with the total of EMS shipping from Japan that blows everything out of proportion and it'll be months before the wallet recovers... bloody exchange rate :-( Especially the cost from Japan to Australia is higher compared to the cost of shipping a rim from Australia to Japan (based on Austpost website EMS quote)... Asymmetrical economy... But for the time being, just enjoy the pics... feel free to comment...

Might take a bit longer than the other guys as you're further up north near Cairns...

There's a release lever? -
hm, this is becoming like a can of worms, according to fitment guide R34 GT non turbo should be 296mm front and 297mm rear (same as R33 Gtst) but seems like some have 280mm front and 297mm rear (R33 GTST) - but since yours is 265mm rear, I'm not very sure man... Maybe the 296/297mm ones are the coupes as they would need to be sportier and fit bigger rims, and the sedan may indeed have 280/265. the problem is I found the 280mm front but not the rears.

The V Series Spotted Thread
rs73 replied to funkymonkey's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Spotted a h00n in blue V35 Coupe plate no WLB5** on Dynon Rd this afternoon going towards Footscray, cutting our daily car from the left lane to the right lane, narrowly missing our front left corner, then braking so hard and almost slammed to the back of the ute in front. It's a bloody rush hour traffic jam, you stupid t00l, where do you think that kind of manouver will take you? You didn't get any faster as you still got stuck in Dynon traffic anyhow. Thank's for that a$$h0le, now I know who sow the seeds of 'bad image' for skyline drivers. You better not be on this forum as it's a disgrace. -
Glad you liked it, I like them on the v as well... They get better as they wear out a bit more (noise getting less and bite getting grippier) Update - Group Buy 41: - ARE31 (payment clear) - poobah (payment clear) - SandalsBoy (payment clear) - tiels32 (waiting for payment to clear) - N-DAWG (payment clear) Will send out tonight or tomorrow - just gonna double check the R34 non turbo rotor size and pads at the front, making sure it's the right part!

I think it's written somewhere in ADR which applies to the legality of all lights of vehicle in Australia. I can't remember the exact wordings but basically: All forwad facing headlights should be amber (white-ish xenon are allowed if they're factory fitted ones), All backward facing taillights should be red Indicators should be yellow or orange Reverse indicator white etc No other colours are permitted, e.g. no green, purple, blue etc. It's all ruled out so to avoid confusion. Imagine having following a car with orange brake lights and red indicator. How would I realise that the car is braking hard if I was expecting to see a red brake lights but instead it was lighting up orange? Worse even if people have blue brake lights... imagine the car in front brake hard to avoid collision with a kid and the following drivers behind took a few extra milliseconds to think "what the heck does those blue lights means?" before realising it's all too late and you end up with a serious accident. Keep the neons for the autosalon, mate.

Steve, are they curved shape ones? I think I know what pads they are. DP2792 (green) or 3792 (red). 137x54x17 mm. R33 Gtst/R34 GTT are DP21200/31200 square shape 120x70x14mm
-
N-DAWG, if you can measure your front rotors diameter across and tell me roughly are they 28cm across or 29.6cm across?
-
Apparently some R34 GT (na) owner has front 296mm - I'm guessing these are the coupe, as some other R34 na owners tell me the 296 is too big for theirs, - so I reckon R34 sedan has 280mm ?

Driver Dynamics Beginners Drift Day Sandown Saturday 17th January 2009
rs73 replied to kevwrx's topic in Archived Events
I've organized early skidpan days in 2003, and there's some auto cars attended, including a benz, which are purrfectly fine for drifting. It's the driver who drifts, not the car. If you got skills you can even drift a rickshaw if you really try hard... -
Are the R33 NA & R34 NA front pads the same? the data I have is R34 NA uses the same pads at the front with R34 GTT and R33 Gtst ?
