  1. Exactly. Are the radio still Bose in the G37? The v35 had specs too close to 350z that importing both may cannibalise each other's sale, and would be the similar case with G37 and 370z. plus I read in a magazine, Nissan aus views the V35, V36 (G37) as an 'Infiniti' brand and since Infiniti is not 'on sale' in Australia, they've decided not to bring in the V-series Skylines.
  2. Update - Group Buy 41: - ARE31 (payment clear) - poobah (payment clear) - SandalsBoy (waiting for payment to clear) Closing this weekend!
  3. Oh, quick, where's my hairdresser?
  4. Group buy 41: - ARE31 (payment cleared)
  5. Never heard, pics will be great. I've got a set of sportec that I'm planning to put on as well but I'll have a look if behind the rims they have the incision to match up with the 6th bolt ?
  6. Depends what step down converter is installed. Some are 16 & 32 stepdown, some are 10 & 20. Mine's and yours should be the 10 & 20. e.g. melbourne's 101.1 mix becomes 82.1, 101.9 fox becomes 81.9 (20 down) and vega 91.5 becomes 81.5 (10 down)
  7. Hi all track junkies who just can't get enough track times, Just posting to help my brother's club: Mazda RX8 Club Australia. This event is not SAU-related events, and I am only helping my brother's club as they have booked Winton and still have to proceed regardless the less number of cars signed up so far. When and Where? Saturday 13th December 2008. Winton Raceway. How Much? $250 per car, maximum of 30 cars on the day - PLENTY OF TRACK TIME! Requirement: As per standard AASA / CAMS event. AASA license available for $50 on the day, or bring your CAMS L2S license. Plus all the other standard scrutineering checklist: Approved helmets, roadworthy cars, etc. How to sign up? Go to RX8 club website: http://www.rx8club.com.au/forum/viewtopic....f=12&t=4803 Contact the organiser to confirm that the total 30 cars maximum has not been reached, Download the Registration form (PDF format) and make your payment. I know it's expensive, I'm tempted too, but finance is a bit tight for me this month. But for those of you who can afford it, the 30 cars maximum (where normally can be up 60 cars) will mean you get more track times, and therefore is probably worth it... For any further questions, please go to the RX8 club website and ask the organiser there, as I am not organising this even and will not be able to answer your questions. Just helping out fellow motoring enthusiasts. Regards, Rianto

  15. Just got news - RDA is processing the order and they should be shipped out shortly.
  16. The 235/45 will be 2cm bigger in radius compared to the 245/35 you had. Although it may fit however the circumference will be around 5% bigger than standard so that is not really recommend to have aftermarket tyres that is bigger than 3% circumference, however I'm not sure where the speedo reading is taken, possible from around the diff area, so it may not affect your speedo speed.
  17. You still working with Adrian, Adz?
  18. looks right, by calculating volume per cylinder (phi=3.14 * (bore/2) ^2 ) * stroke = 583 cm3 (or cc) per cylinder * 6 = 3.499 ltr for the VQ35.
  19. if you're still unsatisfied and gonna upgrade to 20s, maybe i'll b interested in your oem 19s but looks like u're not in melb, shipping will b hard
  20. are finding 20" tyres easier than 19" ? initially I was going to 235/35 & 265/35 on 19 as those are the closest compatible size but looks like will have to go 245 & 275
  21. shave close at the rear guard there... r u gonna roll it ? what about mid corner bumps on the front? looks like it might touch as well...
  22. mine don't have the valet key, only 2 remote keys, but one came in with the car, the other set came in through mail together with the vehicle's japanese manual books and service logs. who r u importing with? ask the supplier if they have it or not or if it's been mailed separately.
  23. Any pics... sounds really MAD, probably more of a show rims rather than a practical daily driving one, I'd imagine it'll constantly rub your guards or scrape the gutters... Check the offset with offset calculator here: Std V35 rims are 8" with +35 offset front and +38 offset rear. I'm not sure if rear is 8.5" but you can get an idea how much they will stick out using that calculator http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
